Oles win at Carleton 61-60. Banick gets a spinning lay-up on a drive to fall with 4.9 seconds left.

Hey PI, want to hear a funny story? My team will shoot 35% from the field, 21% from deep and 58% from the line in the first half...and still be beating your boys.

Kinda looks like it could have been shades of 2001-02 if we shoot more like Tim Brown and less like that big Petersen kid.

BS - PR and maybe ENel are joining me on Monday. Gimme a shout if you want in.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

No Clute, no chance. How sad is that Hamline's success lies on one player out of Hawley who was supposedly a second option?

Exciting finish at West Gym tonight. I'm a little too worn out to summarize. Quick thoughts:

1. Chad Norberg lit it up in front of his hometown crowd.
2. Zorro looked like his old self, forcing too many shots.
3. Banick played mediocre for the majority of the game but was able to get to the tin when it really mattered.
4. Drake had a good look at the game winner, and should have hit it.

What a great rivalry...

How long is Clute out for?  Will he be good to go for the Johnnies game this Saturday?

Interesting result coming out of the civil or uncivil war in Northfield...is it me or are a majority of the teams in the MIAC suffering from the "Jekyll and Hyde" syndrome?

Nice win for the Auggies...I see the Tommies picked up the type of win I thought they would, the Cobbs were only down 2 at the half, and Toms pulled away, the team I can't figure out is MAC...they have enough talent to win these games but can't seem to get over the hump.

WW- getting off work that day at 3:30- have to go down to Mankato to take care of some school stuff. Hoping to have enough time to cruise through Northfield and meet up with you guys. Sounds like an All-Star cast. Still working out the details, but I'm pretty sure I'm going.

Any details I should know about going into the game? Haven't been around enough to know anything about CAR.
(Reporter interviewing Charles Barkley after and altercation where he threw a fan out of a bar window)

Reporter: Charles, is there anything about the incident you regret?

Sir Charles: Yeah, that we weren't on a higher floor.

cardinals are aweful, perhaps a change is needed, perhaps one of the coaching staff.  bright spots for SMU though in last nights defeat, Wright 23 points, Carr 6 steals

Tough loss last night, but man... 19 posts later & now you're giving up on the Birds??  Hmph.

A few notes from the HAM/GAC box

* Carl Hipp scored a career-high 27 points (on 21 shots)
* Thrasher had 16 points (on 16 shots)
* Clearly Whitmore has a love for Pierre Harris, who in five games has averaged 20 minutes a game, has made just 5 shots on 19 attempts (3 ppg) and has 12 assists to 11 turnovers. I don't get it.

* It was the Kane-Wittwer show with each pulliding down 21 and 10. Van Sickle had 12 points (on 13 shots).

You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run
