In Macalester tradition, the Scots lose at SMU for the seemingly hundreth time in a row.

Johnnies win the game tonight.......Henrichs had a double-double 19pts 10reb.......CAR had 15 TO's .....Craig Schafer had 11 rebs.       Johnnies shot 57% in the first half and 58% in the second half......                           CAR led at the half 33-32   
Overall a well played second half for the johnnies     Leiser had 14 pts and Brady Brink poured in 14 points to aid in the victory

Pipes lose to UST 77-71. Very fun game to watch. It just came down to better shots for UST. It's a lot easier to make a 6-8 foot jumper than a 20-25 footer.

Sean Sweeney scored 10 pts in 2 minute stretch where they pulled away. He hit two threes. Schnettler had 20, 16 in second half. Ike had 28.

For Hamline, Thrasher had 20, DeRock had 14 and Good had 10.

Liked the up-tempo by Hamline, but at 58-58 with 5 to go, set up your offense a bit more. Turnovers and bad shots hurt them.

Still don't understand why a guy that hasn't played the first 30 minutes (Joe Smock), plays in crucial spots. He took a three from 30+.

Good game. I think HAM is definitely a contender for a top 6 spot.

CAR looked very young at least 3 freshman played while i was there for sure and it could have been more. Forkrud is a monster that will be a force in the MIAC for many years if he stays and Zach Johnson played well early and looks to be promising. The Knights could be a very good team down the road a year or two if they get a good recruiting class.

watchman - Are you serious right now? Is Forkrud leaving midseason for the NBA? Is he on the Keating plan with 8 years of eligibility? Or is he just a frustrated senior captain who's been starting since his days as a freshman?

No I meant if he transfered up to play some where else, which is not likely but is possible. He out played the SJU posts right from the start tonight and will only get better as the year and years go on.

Matter of fact, what is going on in the MIAC? CAR is 0-3. SMU is 2-0. MAC, BU, not doing hot, HAM, STO looking okay. Where is the MIAC I predicted?

Oh well, at least there's still GAC/UST on Wednesday.

Wow wow, don't put MAC and BET in the same level. 

1) Remember MAC's missing 2 guards
2) Played close VS UST
3) Losing to SMU is a traddition (like onearm said)
4) Besides, MAC beat BET reasonably bad.
