I think I need to check my temperature and go to the doctor, for something must be clearly wrong with me, as I am agreeing with AO on a topic
I also believe the new UST gym should have been at least in the 2500 range. I realize you don't want to build/design too much capacity and make "regular" game crowds seem lost in a bigger facility, but some recent games clearly show they could use more than 2000 for big games, and would make the facility more attractive for D3 NCAA playoff events as well. There are certainly ways of designing a facility so you have the capability of seating more people for big events, yet keep crowds for less attended games in a lower section to maintain intimacy.

i agree as well...they should have built it bigger...like 8,843 or 13,481 seats because after this baseball season the twins wont need that big white curtain in the upper deck anymore...they could donate it to st. thomas and then kirby, rod, harmon, and the rest of the crew could watch all the games too and no one would notice the empty seats because they would be behind the curtain...then when playoffs come around it would be crazy

the part i hate most about new gyms is the plastic bleachers...it takes away all the character the wooden bleachers bring

The message, Willy, the message.  Focus on the mesage from this morning, not the messenger. 

For me, the number 2,500 sounds about right.  2,000 regular seating capacity & then bring out bleachers on the ends of the court to bring it up to 2,500 for major games.  Otherwise, UST would have one of those big, hollow sounding arenas like MAC.  And just because they have a new arena doesn't mean the Tommie student section will change their attendance habits.  The fans will come out for the big rivalry games - GAC, Bethel, SJU & the tournament playoffs, but otherwise, the attendance will be in the 600-900 range.

congrats on your awesome regular season record of 25-0.  your tourney win over gac was ridiculous.  your win over bu was convincing.  please keep playing.   go deep.  keep the pressure on your opponents.  do not relent.  a final four appearance would be just what the conference ordered.   8)   can't imagine that there are many miac fans who don't agree.

I think I've found out how yorky got a d-1 job, the other refs in the big ten are just awful.  Hightower doesn't have a bias, he's just terrible.  good luck figuring out what a foul might be on a given play.
