Quote of the Day:

CBS sports analyst Seth Davis in explaining why he selected Michigan State to win tonight's game:

Defense, Depth, & Destiny!

Go Spartans, Big Ten!

Seth Davis is an idiot...he said Wisconsin had no chance coming back against Florida State and lo and behold what happened...he was absent on the postgame show after that one...I think Greg Anthony'a analysis was much better than the big mouth scribe to his right.

It could be that Davis, a Dook grad, couldn't fathom picking the hated Heels even though the whole tournament he said they were the best team.

I had the chance to take in the title game from Ford Field. It was the best sound in the world when that stupid "Green! White!" cheer stopped cold about four minutes into the game. Truth be told, though, the Spartan fans were great, and some random MSU fan came over to our section and offered to trade his better seats in the Carolina section for ours, which we gladly accepted.

I hope everyone gets a chance to get outside and enjoy some nice spring weather--we've certainly earned it. Sumander, are you coming down for the tourney this weekend? If so, make sure to say hi. Should be a good battle with eight nationally-ranked teams in the field.

One final thought---Tiger or the field? I'll take Tiger.

C-SID, Thinking about making a bolt down and back on Saturday for the action at NGC. Certainly a stellar field. Let's hope the weather cooperates  a little better than last week end. If I am there you will know where to find me.  ;)

Is it a shotgun start on Saturday or tee times?
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Tee times on Saturday. Can't get out until 1 p.m. (hassle of playing at a semi-private country club) and if Toms are in top 4 they'd be around 1:30, with yours going around 2 p.m. I'll post the tee times on the website on Friday night for you.

Saturday's forecast is 57 degrees and mostly sunny, so should be a good day.

knock knock...

No kidding...it sure is quiet in this neck of the woods...

Could be worse.  AO is spouting over on the CCIW board about the greatness of Northwestern and how it puts Wheaton to shame.... he could be back over here spouting worthless crap...
