OK boys, listen up. Now that I'm a veteran poster on this board let me throw a little smack around...
OAS- your boys go down by a touchdown tonight. That's seven points. Mail it in.

It appears Fins underestimated our boys.

Once again, OAS gets burned by going against the J's!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

The Cardinal run might be coming to a close with another road loss.

80-76 HAM

DeRock 26, Smock 16, Foster 12 (8 from line)
Haywood 16, Smith 14, Buccieri 12

Pipers move to 9-8 with probably needing just one win/maybe two to make playoffs. @SJU, @BET, vs. CON to end season.

In the basement battle, the Cobbs beat the Dawgs 75-70.

Brock Citterman is named the Cobbs player of the game with 16 pts, 6-9 from the field, 2-4 treys, 2-2 FTs, 9 boards, 8 assists, 1 steal.  Miller for the Cobbs has 17 points & Ryan Johnson adds 14 points.

Sorry, missed the Augsburg scoring leaders.

Gusties win by nine at St. Olaf. They jumped out to a 17-4 lead in the first half, only to have the Oles come back and take a 24-22 lead with under five to go. Gustavus led by seven at half. They seal the win with a Phil Sowden one-handed dunk late in the second half. Nice games from Tebrake, Sowden, Wittwer. St. Olaf's just not a very good basketball team, but they gave it everything they had tonight and made it an interesting 40 minutes.

Looks like it will come down to the wire between GAC and SJU. Next saturday!! How fun would that game be?? It may be as packed as the UST SJU matchup......oh wait no. The students still won't care. There were more people at the Blazers home game on monday night than there were at the Johnnies game. Go figure.

This bandwagon riding's pretty fun! SJU by a touchdown and a safety tonight. Time for a victory Hamm's!

First trip ever to the MAC whatever they call that place where they try to play basketball. Let's just say I was...underwhelmed. OaS, just what in the hell did Irv do for that place? You'd think he might have thought of using some of the money he saved by running the football team out of town to knock a couple of walls out and put in some seats. But there was actually plenty of room for the 32 SJU fans and 34 MAC fans. Must've been a record crowd tonight. Nice natatorium though, actually more seats in there.
And the game, Scots looked good early but couldn't hold it together. Conboy looks solid, gets himself in position well and makes it happen. Not much of a supporting cast. Mr. five-oh must be a theater major. I know players sometimes don't think calls on them are justified but he had a mini-tantrum on each one. I think the spread could've been wider had Henricks not limped off. SJU was just starting to groove when he went down and the Johnnies had a little trouble finding their rhythm after that. After the game he wasn't putting any weight at all on the foot and they fetched him some crutches.

BTW, OaS, I yelled at you when you ran by but you ran away. I was going to slip you a consolation Hamm's. Maybe next time.

All aboooaaarrrd!
