So, research has shown that no freshman has won All Conference since 1997-98 (as far back as the links go on miac-online.org)

Will that change this year with either DeRock or Johnson making the team?

I checked with the league office and they ARE ELIGIBLE to make the All Conference team and not just the All First Year team.

OAS - I still contend Ms. OAS/1500 would have loved the 1500th post dedication in her honor.  You remember the vows... "to cherish, HONOR,. love" etc.

If she  knew you had this blog going on, she might say something like:

Ms. Oas : "How come you don't have a blog about us?!?"
Mr OAS: "Oh, but I do honey, see this post, Post #1500?  It's all about you!"

Now she knows you have mad game, you're over, & have unlimited posting privileges.

I like to think the flower arrangement and card at her desk when she arrived at 7:30 am this morning did the trick...Maybe I'll dedicate a page to her on the site...

...which brings me to a funny story...

Went to the flower store yesterday with a fellow MAC grad to get flowers. 

"I like to think we are a bit more creative than a simple dozen roses," I told the woman at the counter.

She put together a nice arrangement for each of us.

Directly behind me, a Tommie hockey player arrives to pick up his dozen roses.  I loved it.

We even "older" posters remember Fred Dryer as a member of the LA Rams.  Played in the NFL 13 years, All-Pro once.  On Oct. 21, 1973 against the Packers he set an NFL record by recording two tackes for safety.

Personally, I watched Hunter more for Stephanie Kramer.
