I could not stop staring at her thats for sure. We chatted a litle bit. I cant remember what jersey the Schwab was wearing but I play with Stockton on sundays and you cant get a call out of him. Thats ok though cause it is his gym and I am not going in there and calling a foul on him.

Interesting, but not surprising news out of Bethel.  The change to Westlund will be quite smooth I'm sure.  Both he and Coach Bjorklund were on the same page most of the time and both were very involved in the recruiting process, and pretty much everything else, so for guys being recruited now and those that are new freshmen, there is really not much different in terms of dynamics of the program.  There will be some changes, as there always are in a coaching change, but this is the best type of change to have, it seems to me.  And OAS is right, Westie is very high energy, but really does know his X's and O's.  He is a great basketball mind, and I learned a bunch from him in my time there.

TH4L - Filzen is filthy. RW doubled him every time he touched it yesterday to "hold" him to 30 on 4 treys (he had 34 and 6 last time). I bet he also had 6-9 assists.

Whatever MIAC team gets Terrible Tammy's kid in two years will have a prize. However, the rest of the league gets a great heckling target, especially if we're still doing this asinine girl/guy doubleheader and TT gets to watch every game from the stands.

Filzen is a great player and an even better kid. He's had like seven, maybe more, 30+ point games as a junior, and here against RW, him and Beumer combined for 55 of Northfield's 65 points on the night. I watched him drop 37 on South St. Paul, it was ridiculous. The coach said he was doubled every time at RW, so yeah that's a staggering number for him to score, even though he took 23 shots. He's kind of like Redick in that he's no longer merely a perimeter threat. He likes to drive, and now has added a killer 18 foot pull-up jumper off the dribble that I swear he makes every single time. But to be honest, if he continues at his pace, I'd be surprised to see him go D-3. I know several coaches are  already recruiting him from what the coach has said, although I haven't gotten specifics yet, and if he has a great senior year, he goes no worse than D-2. Now I'm off to watch Carleton win it's 15th straight. I better get a better photo this time. In today's paper, I ran a photo I took of Forkrud Saturday as he was getting stuffed in the second half, oops. Knights will win by double digits tonight.
