Schnettler makes two free throws...crowd chanting na-na-na-na hey-hey-hey-hey goodbye!!!   Sounds like a great atmosphere......NCU draws foul....makes one of two....gets steal......scores.....NCU fouls.....under 10 seconds left......UST by 6

The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Announcers saying the Tommies only turned the ball over 4 or 5 times.....UST scores 50 points in the second half.  I will say that the NCU announcers did a great job with the play-by-play

John Gleich

Yep, those North Central guys are good, especially the play-by-play guy.

If St. Thomas can play like this on Saturday, then I think they've got a great shot against Lawrence.  If a team doesn't beat themself by turning the ball over (like North Central did tonight) and if they knock down their free-throws (which St. Thomas did) then they put themselves in a great position for the win.

3 years ago, Gustavus Adolphus went across Wisconsin and stunned my Pointers in Stevens Point enroute to a National Runner-up finish.  The MIAC hasn't gotten alot of talk nationally, but St. Thomas proved their worth tonight by dispatching with a good opponent (that St. Thomas made to NOT look good) and they seem to be playing well at the right time.  Good luck on Saturday!

Schnettler scored 16 of his 18 points in the second half including 10 of 10 at the foul line....Announcers also said that the home court advantage was huge for UST....Apparently a great crowd

NCU misses a long 3...Sweeney gets the rebound....he's fouled.....A trip to Appleton, WI coming up! Crowd chanting overrated....

That is SUCH a stupid cheer - will people EVER figure out that that is demeaning your OWN team (whoopee - so you beat a garbage team)!

Rosefelt takes the mic and tells the fans to go buy their tickets for Saturday's game....lol* :D

Dang, I had the prediction 74-68, missed Tommies score by 2.  I'm going to Vegas.   :)

Congrats Tommies; great performance!

Reportedly adding "I don't care if gas is $2.25!"

I'm guessing the fair weather Tommie fans will hop off the bandwagon when they sober up, realize the trip is nearly 6 hours and against the top ranked team. For those that DO make the trip, reports/chants/signs about the hot trainer are encouraged  :o
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Congrats to the Tommies.  Good luck to you guys in Appleton on Saturday.

Congrats Tommies!
Keep it rolling and best of luck against Lawrence!
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

The box score is now up on the UST website.  Here's the highlights for the Tommies.

Schnettler - 18 points (10-10 FT)
Rosefelt - 24 points on 9-11 FG, 5 rebounds
Keating - 15 points, 3 steals
Sweeney - 8 points, 6 assists, 1 turnover

All UST starters played over 30 minutes.  Shimek was the low man, logging 32 minutes.  Only bench player to see any significant time was Weaver, who played 17 minutes and contributed 7 points.

UST TEAM STATS:

Kilted - Our study/work procrastination could make us the sorriest pair of people alive.

I mean, besides TDT and anyone else. Obviously.

That had to have been a very tough post for you kilt !!  Good win for the Tommies and I hope they can pull another one out vs. Law.
