Candace Parker now has one more dunk than I ever got in a college uniform  :-[

I'm sure your dunk was a two handed drop step dunk though Willy  ;D   ( Much more impressive...well maybe not)

Are you sure that she didnt lay it up and grab the rim, or the net. Maybe since she won the McDonalds dunk contest, we should name her one of the 50 greatest dunkers of all time.

I think that was kinda weak that she won the dunk contest. At first when I saw her dunks the other night I didn't even think they were dunks. When they zoomed in it proved she did grab the rim and dunk it. Shes a girl what do you expect Jdowney ? A 360 between the legs? :D

Hey watchmen,

Yea wish in one hand, sh!t in the other, see which one fills up first.  OAS has been known to back out of bets or not pay his share.  If you don't get that t-shirt soon I would get the C-ville mob after him.

A player who was on my AAU team this last summer is at Concordia today visiting and playing with the players. He is a 5'11'' guard named Brian Lebsock from Frenchtown Montana. He averaged nearly a triple double this year and a runner up finish at the state tournament. He also has a little brother who is a junior who was their teams leading scorer and best athlete who will probably follow Brian. They were my starting 1 and 2 guards on a team that went 18-6 in AAU tournaments and a 2 point loss to the national runner up that included all D1 recruits. In football Brian and Nathan were named the conference Offensive and Defensive MVP's and Brian broke the statewide record with 31 career interceptions. Both players are good athletes...but more importantly are great leaders, dedicated athletes and basketball players, and both are good people. If they both attend Concordia look for them to be the best backcourt in the MIAC in years to come.

If anyone has any questions about either player, than feel free to as me. I will update the board as soon as I hear that Brian commits.

Headed to Oakland...GO ZAGS!!!

Is basketball their sport of choice or would they play football? Horan has done a great job recruiting. Sounds like these two guys would be a great addition to either program.

i hope montana high school basketball players have improved A LOT over the last 6 years cuz i remember going to the montana state basketball team camp and they put the best 7 high school players in their state all on the same team and they got killed by 3 different average minnesota high school teams

im sure basketball has to be better than it use to be there though with the popularity of AAU basketball

so i will take your word for it that he is good

I highly doubt the best 7 high school players were on the same team at any camp in MT. I have went to camp in that state since I was a little and there was never a camp like that. I was an all conference player in the  MIAC 2 years ago and was not the best player in the state. As a matter of fact I cannot stand statements like that. Another Gonzaga coach and I went to watch a player from MT for a possible recruit and neither team was one of the best in the state and it was made clear that MT basketball is as good as any to an extent.

With grammar like that, I can only assume you are referring to the Clem Haskins camp :)

Does this statement even make sense?

MM,

Nice story on Shimek. The kid can flat out play basketball, and he is a great guy away from the court. Chances are he'll stay close to the UST area (the young lady he's currently dating is the younger sister of one of my good buddies and plays for the UST women, she'll be a senior next year).

JDowney,

Adam Morrison is the athletically fit version of Ron Jeremy. The mustache is flat out disgusting, but he can fill it up. Redick and Williams will find a way for the Blue Devils to win the national title, but I will manage to find a way not to win any pools despite picking them in every one to win all the marbles.

Is this a harvard english class or a message board? I am assuming you got my message. I type quik and make sure the message is what i want it to say. Sort of like note taking.

Expect the Zags to knock off Duke in the final four.

WW, Saw a piece in the Fargo Forum today, That your sister was named to the D-ll All American second team! Congratulations. She had a great career.

You beat me to it CM....I was going to ask just how good to basketball is in Montana. I heard that there are a couple kids from Florida that are being recruited to play hockey at UST. They are coming up for a visit and playing with the team too.  :D
