Didn't see the dunk constest. I thought Grier was out of his league when they announced he was in it.

How about Novak from Marquette in the 3-pt contest?? Talk about a sweet stroke!

I'd say that chick from Mich. State had a better stroke than he did!! Novak is an amazing shooter especially since he is so tall. I think he is in the 6'9'' to 6'11''. That girl scored 25 in the head to head matchup. I saw a few huge dunks in the dunk contest too......suppose Sumander didn't see them because they were past his bed time  ;D

Noah & the Gators will rule, MW  :)  :)

I doubt it they are too young and UCLA is just so darn good!!  ;D

"Defense wins championships!!"

I'll take UCLA....

I'm gonna have to agree with MM on this one. UCLA does have great defense, but Florida is too strong with Noah and too athletic with Green to be stopped. The key for the Gators is if that white guard (can't remember his name) who made all those threes against George Mason can hit those shots tonight. I like Florida 62-55.

I'll take Jack Bauer kills a few bad guys then I turn on the second half and four sophomores and Ryan Humphrey win the title.

Drake Palmer

Color me UCLA Crazy Blue, but I think I'm going with the Bruins.  I never expected them to get by Memphis but since they did.... Go Wizards of Westwood!

Humphrey was AMAZING in that second half on Saturday night vs. George Mason. Six threes is a good number. I still think UCLA will win. Luke Richard Mha Bah a Mutte or however you spell it and Jordan Farmar are solid players and they will lead ULCA.

God I'm tired of being right! Florida was better in every phase than UCLA tonight. Congratulations to Billy Donovan and the Gators on a national title. Looks like Florida is no longer just a football school! :o

TH4L, I thought I heard the announcers say last night that Florida is the only school, in the last decade, to make it to the championship game twice!!

It must be hard TH4L  ;)  I will eat my words as I usually do. Florida was just straight up better than UCLA last night and Noah was a force. What are the odds on him turning pro?? I would guess but I would be wrong so its not even worth a guess.

I believe Jack Bauer killed 4 men then the Gators won. 2 for 2.

One other to report from Saturday night's jamboree event here in Bird Island. That kid that was the driver of the vechicle that two of his teammtes were tragicially lost in, played in the event with an armband that read their initials "AM" and "JB." He won the three-point contest and then scored a game-high 15 points.

Also those two kids heading to Bethel, aren't going to go out for basketball.

I think Noah needs at least another year before he can consider turning pro. But judging from what he said in the CBS mic last night after the win, it sounds like he won't be doing any homework for a while.

I never thought I'd actually care enough to bring this up, but Jamie Broback leaves the U for "personal reasons" and becomes the third Gopher to leave the women's basketball program in 11 days... Is the Gophers regime falling apart?
