if someone put a gun to my head & said "pick", here's what I would say:

I wouldn't say anything, but probably just pick my nose.

Edit - I just made D3Hoops All-Conference fellas! It's karma time   ;D

WHAT A STUD, WHERE'S THE PARTY?

Ok, ok, bad opening sentence! And there's another reason why I didn't graduate from UST -  that fine institution of higher learning.  I did take a class there once, but it wasn't from the school of journalism.   ;D

I fixed it, let me know if meets with your approval.

I've longed the days for posts from such great posters as OAS, Soaps and Superfan. I get one and it's a link to a story that I already read last night.

Off to Madison for some State Street drinking....and some hockey. I better make my picks ASAP. Have a good one board!

PS to Mafia-
There is a place that has the 2 pound burger in Madtown. Do I dare?

Congrats Drake on the All-Conference award! +k for the honor.

Thanks Sum!  Whether we're in the words of PI - "great" posters or not, at least some of us still try to post.  With the dwindling number of active posters on MIAC Conversations, they might have to move the board to the virtual Intensive Care Unit.  :'( ;)

I was a little surprised last night and today when we got very few game reports! >:(

Looks like I have an opportunity to do a little scouting for the Johnnies this weekend!  ;)

Sir Charles could be the greatest human being ever. I could watch Inside the NBA for weeks straight.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Don't put me in the same breath as OAS!!!!!!!  I guess as one gets older, priorities begin to change.  I don't recall the last MIAC hoops game I have seen.  Don't get me wrong, I still read the board, just can't comment on games I haven't seen.

Interesting thing did happen this morning while I was talking to  my wife.  I was reminiscing about "the good 'ole days" in which we would take road trips to games and the biggest priority was which bar to go to pre-game.  I still remember the bars near Carthage, UIU, Buena Vista, Stevens Point, etc.    The games were good too (I think)

I was brought back to reality when my wife told me "that was a long time ago"!

Oh well, I'll add my two cents when ever I can!

A friend of mine just told me about this "Posting Up" message board thingy.  Looks cool.  I'll give it a whirl.

I've seen MAC vs AUG and MAC vs SJU so far.  SJU looks solid although can Brady Brink shoot that well all season?

My favorite so far is ABE from MAC.  Kid is flat out fun to watch.  The 32 he dropped on AUG was incredible.  Any Tommie insiders know how he got away from UST?  I hear he was a JVer.

This posting thing is pretty cool.  I'll stick around.  beware of MAC!!

oAs,

Good to see you back.  Apparently, the rumors of your demise were greatly exaggerated.   :)

Stick around awhile.

UST is hyped for the Johnnie game next week, but they do have that downright terrible drive to Moorhead on Saturday.  Should be a fun bus trip leaving at 7AM.  I know that's exactly what I would want to do with my Saturday.

I like Snowman's rhyme better than finsleft's.  Snowman is a white, rapping Manute Bol eskimo from Alaska.  I think he knows what he's talking about.

Keating is still the man, just because he missed a layup it doesn't make him terrible.     I think I may have seen a few guys in the NBA miss wide open layups.......You ask Mike how the game went and everytime he'll say "A wins a win".  That's where his head is at rookie byyyaaatches

 Another note,

Schnettler's got 238 treys and P Russel from MAC is the alltime leader with 277.  12 regular season games left with 39 3's to go.  And that's if UST goes in a dive and doesn't make the playoffs.  You better get a hand up and even then he's not gonna stop shooting.

He also needs 44 to break the MIAC single-season record of 78. He's on pace for 92 in league play for the season.
