Fins, Bandwagon is still idling. Word I get on conditions in Central God's Country is things are bad! More worried about getting home tonight than down there this afternoon. >:(

Better get rolling, it looks like a white-knuckle drive. Although local doppler shows a clear patch from western Stearns up toward Fargo.
I see the U of M just cancelled all activities including president's state of the U speech. This on the heels of SCSU cancelling the U's hockey program last weekend. (Sorry, couldn't resist.)

I know why I'm not in the HOF, I refuse to kiss the backsides that must be kissed to gain entry.

Nah, it's because nobody outside of about three boards knows who the heck you are. Hall of Famers drop actual knowledge all over the site, not banter on a few select conversations.

I post on the NWC, LLPP, and MIAC boards which are 3 of the top 4 boards for posts made and viewership.

As far as the actual dropping knowledge part... we all know I have very little football/basketball related knowledge to drop. Mostly because I only make it to 3-4 FB games a year and 0-1 B-ball games a year.
Now accepting new patients. All bills must be paid in scotch shortly after any services rendered.  Sorry TDT, no problems below the waist.

Discovered by the Germans in 1904, they named it San Diego, which of course in German means a whale's vagina.

How does that old saying go....Discretion is the better part of valor! I think I am going to miss my first game of the year at Sexton tonight! :(

Any word on the other teams in the UST pod making it to St. Paul. I would think travel would be real dicey for all of them tomorrow. Just like the SJU loras winner trying to get to Stevens Point.

Getting to Point is going to be brutal for you Johnnie backers, should SJU pull it out tonight. Ive made the trip a number of times (to Point from the Metro area), and its real rough when any amount of snow hits. Plus, it just always seems to be snowing/raining harder in the middle of Wisconsin than the rest of the state, defying meteorology and common sense. At least Hwy 29 got widened to four lanes, so you feel like youre maneuvering on something that is, in fact, a highway. It only used to be two lanes, and I can remember driving 35 miles an hour all the way from Green Bay. Hopefully the snow will dissipate by tomorrow afternoon. I got stuck in Wausau coming back from the Packer v. Viking game at Lambeau this year, by a snowstorm that seemingly only hit a 60 mile stretch of Hwy 29. Good times.

Looks like the weather reports for Rock Island have snow showers moving in tonight, and staying through until Saturday, complete with heavy wind. So that should be a grueling bus ride to StP for whoever wins the game tonight.

I knew it was too good to be true! I have put on 5,000+  driving miles watching the Johnnies this winter and haven't had to worry about the weather up until today! I just sucks that it has to happen at playoff time.

Ah yes, Hwy 29 from Eau-Claire to Green Bay.  I remember that stretch well from Dec. 21st, 2006 near Wausau.  Wonka was there.  IT was a trip.

Im having trouble getting the SJU webcast to open, using the link on the Johnnies homepage. Anyone listening to the broadcast right now? If you are, steer me in the right direction. Ive got to believe something is wrong with the link. Im computer savvy. Honestly.

This Carroll webcast is brutal. The play by play guy is pulling a John Moschitta Jr. (the dude from the old Micro Machines commercials, and currently contributing to I Love The 90s), apparently EVERY detail of the game is relevant ("shot up, hits the front of the rim, then the side of the rim, bounces off the backboard, hits the front of the rim, and in") and must be relayed to the listeners in real time. Color commentary? Well, that depends on whether nuggets of knowledge like "yeah, i think those two guys are brothers" followed by 3 minutes of dead silence from said announcer constitutes color commentary. By the way, it says in the program that the two of them went to different high schools, in different cities, so we know hes a stickler for facts.
