What a difference Sexton makes. Johnnies shooting extremely well, a far cry from their horrendous showing at The Shoe. Sounds like theyre getting some pretty good looks, and the DuHawks dont seem to be a lockdown defensive team. Nice balance too for the Johnnies, inside and out.

It sounds like Brink waas a beast on the offensive glass.

Loras even gave a good scouting report to the Loras radio announcer.  The announcer says the scouting report on Westman was that he tends to pull up for the J on the break, but he surprised his Loras defender by giving a head & shoulder fake & driving to the tin.  Nice move by Westman, nicer scouting report by Loras. Dang!

In the game to determine USTs opponent for Saturday, Carroll is up by 4 on Augustana in Rock Island, IL at the half. Sloppy game, with a lot of turnovers (well, A TON for Augustana I should say-theyve got 13 TOs to Carrolls 1 TO) and bad shooting. Turned it off because the feed was so bad, and as I mentioned the broadcast left a lot to be desired. Plan on checking back in later on, but neither team seems to be playing exceptionally well at this point. Augie is having trouble even with the bunnies, missing a handful of shots right at the rim, and is inexplicably only down by 4. Doesnt bode well for Carroll, who no doubt will have to weather the run Augustana will almost surely make after halftime, considering Augie is on their home court.

Js outrebound Loras 21-8 with 7 offenisverebounds & 9 2nd chance points to no offenisve rebounds by Loras.

I forgot how good these announcers are, knowledgeable and concise. They work with each other exceptionally well, and are just a real treat to listen to. Cant even tell you how much better it is listening to these guys, as opposed to the mess that was the Carroll College feed.
