Talked with a few BLH kids yesterday and they had heard rumblings about DeRock's move to Marshall. Again, nothing has been confirmed.

Anybody planning on attending the North Central or the new South Central All Star games this April? I just found out about the SC game yesterday...I'll post the rosters later today...but it will be on a Sunday (the 14th???) at GAC.

Local & VOJ, Good stuff. Keeps those tidbits coming. Anyone watch Sheley from Pequot. As I said earlier he needs to hit the weights. I was a little surprised when I heard that Fisher from Pequot was going to SCSU.

For those west of the metro, come check out one or two of the Tim Orth jamboree events this weekend.

First of all, Jeff Green has never traveled in his life.  He is infallible.  Second of all, Billy Packer AND Jay Bilas are ridiculous regardless of their stance on traveling, and should never be listened to.

Actually that is all I really had.   Jeff Green can't be stopped by ANY team, let alone OSU.  If the Timberwolves have the good sense, and good luck, to get a pick high enough and to draft Green - I will immediately buy season tickets for next year.

Green could easily D-up both Oden and Durant at the same time.  When he finished taking their cookies, he would go down on the other end and go [Hi] Phi Slamma Jamma on them, and put his anatomy on their faces.  He is without a doubt the most complete player in college basketball.

*sidenote, congratulations to me for correctly picking the final four in all 3 of my brackets (even though it is a horrible idea to not diversify).  Now watch as the prophecy becomes complete when Florida defeats Georgetown 86-74 next Monday.  How's that for shameless?

If any of you are going to check out the SC all-star series that PI mentioned, keep your eyes on Blakesley and Larson from Maple River. I saw that team play very early in the season, and Blakesley is one of the few post players I've seen in recent years with a variety of moves inside. He can score in a variety of ways, can really rebound on both ends and has a great ability to alter shots if not block them. He should be a nice college player wherever he ends up. Larson is also a deadly perimeter shooter. Give him an inch and he'll take a yard. He is a bit streaky, but when he's on, watch out.

I'll be attending the all-star series this weekend at Concordia-St. Paul Saturday. If I find out any interesting tidbits, y'all will be the first to know.

Or was last night's performance proof that they are sneaky good? It takes talent to blow a 25 point lead in 17 minutes with the hidden agenda being to improve your draft position.
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

Anyone catch the McDonald's All star game last night? A dunkfest for 35 minutes then they actually played defense for the last 5 minutes. Some unbelievable talent for high school kids. It was not the type of game Cole Aldrich's talents were best showcased. It looked to me like he was struggling gettting up and down the floor. Which is not surprising given the early pace of the game.
