Watch, They are just astute judges of character on the FB board!  ;)
Actually, haven't even made it to a Stiftungfest yet this year! How about you?
I fly any cargo that you can pay to run
The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

I haven't made it to the fest either this year. Time hasn't allowed me to make it to a game let alone the fest this year. Gotta love work on Saturday's!!!

MIG might make my list for BOTTOM 5, however.  :-*
I don't hate Duke. I just hate all their players, coaches and fans.

well apparently you weren't watching close enough!  hahaha, it's all good.  i just played for love of the game and i was grateful to have an opportunity to play on a competitive team.

who rounds out the top 5?

Keating, Sweeney, Schnettler, that's 3 really recent ones.

Snow – thanks for the link & kindling for the posting fire.  I'll let Mose supply all the stats/detail, but as much as I loved those guys you mentioned, I don't necessarily know if they would be in a Tommie top 5.  Of the recent players – last 4 years or so, I'd go 1) Ike 2) Schnettler 2a) Sweeney & then Keating.

Off & on in the years I followed the Tommies, here's my very informal list/ starting point of players I'd nominate for a Tommie Top 10.  Most I've seen play, or people who've followed the league a lot longer than I have, tell me these players could definitely play.

But before I continue, Mark Buri, was a big reason why I started following MIAC ball again.  He was & is a hooper!

Mark Buri
Karnell James (he cloned his game into Buri)
Bill Roddy
Dennis Fitzpatrick
Steve Fritz

Bob Rosier (a disgustingly effective, dominant post player)
Johnny Tauer
Curt Kietzer
Rosie
Schnettler

Under serious consideration:  Sean Sweeney, Kip Sparby, Mike Keating. (the last two were for Word  :-* ;D )

Don't ask me how I found this, but I thought it might get a chuckle or two from the junkies out there.

Willy,

If you're looking for a second job, you might consider hiring on as an instructor as you meet at least one of the job qualifications: a name likely to be butchered by the sportswriters.

My faves from that website:

* Brian Ammann built a tradition of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (MIAC) and national success at Augsburg College as the head basketball coach from 1988 to 2005.

* (Sunshine) played last season in the LBPN, which is Mexico's top professional league.

They have basketball in Mexico?

Ammann's teams showed his trademark offensive game style with great shooting and fast-paced offenses. (Augsburg set NCAA 3-point shooting record with 12 made per game in 1989.)

Ammann's defensive philosophy incorporates high pressure trapping with tough man-to-man techniques.

Ammann is the sole Division III coach to have a player selected in the first round of the NBA draft - Devean George of the Lakers.

Wow, Ammann's still hanging his hat on Devean George?!!!

He's a self-proclaimed "great coach" when in fact, he was horrible. He single handily drove Augsburg basketball into the cellar. I doubt we could find very few, if any, former players that cared for him.
