Nites, they might have worked together inventing the Triple Burger.

A signing to announce from my neck of the woods. Moorhead's  Jordan Driscoll signed to play at MSUM with his cousin Jake. Jake signed with MSUM last year.

The bush league pilots, they just can't get the job done
You've got to fly down the canyon, don't never see the sun
There's no such thing as an easy run

Yes, that may have been it.  Hopefully, there's no association with booma...... or whatever it is that CMob's uses to described his other hobby.....

I guess jhoops is not familiar with the esteemed CMob.  Oh, well I guess I shall retreat back into my humorless dark pit from whence I emerged.

A little birdie says something big is brewing and that little birdie can't say what it is.....??? Let's just say it's the biggest news to hit this board (minus the SMU hiring) in the past two weeks.

As busy as my job has been recently you would think I was a CPA or an accountant wrapping up after the tax season. ::)

Interesting developments over the past few days – Former UW-Platteville coach Todd Landrum takes over at SMU, Bobby "I'm still a hooper" Harris might resurface at Augsburg (yup he can still play), Hamline assistant coach Brady Larson up to Cobberville & now rumors from PI.

PI – very interesting.  Is this more news from the intersection of Snelling & Hewitt?  I've heard from a few sources that its not been the smoothest of transitions this past season.  It might be time to pull out the Palmer-Wonka debate part 5 over which story is more newsworthy? Coach Landrum's hire or the latest upheaval or news elsewhere.

don't know if that was an attempt at humor but very weak.  If you go back and read the places he has been you would maybe then realize there are more than 2 options, just chose the 2 most recent.

Jimhoops - you're relatively new to our board, but that was a decent guess on Nites' part regarding Cmob's whereabouts.  In Cmob's world, chasing greazy tripple burgers, hoops, boombalahties, beer & roller skates are all worthy pursuits.  ;D +K to the usuals.

Drake, Nites, Columbianmafia...

My apologies to all.  Unaware of the inside jokes on this board.  Like you said I'm new to this board.  Amazing how you get your info before things are officially released.  Enjoy reading all of your takes on things in the MIAC.

dont fret jimhoops...we will all dominate the world soon enough as d3hoops will transform into a giant robot...anywho...i worked for coach landrum for 1 year with the t-wolves and then he hooked me up with a nice little gig doing some other work with the wolves...but that was when i was back in college...the good ol days...man i miss those days  :-\

landrum had a side kick coach wilson i believe was his name...for some reason im second guessing myself...but he went to be an assistant coach with flip for the pistons when flip was hired...listening to those two talk about basketball with one another was a treat...very bright basketball minds

Psycho T comes back for his senior season yet Ellington and Lawson declare w/o agents....  With the AP national player of the year coming back wouldn't you think Lawson and Ellington would fallow?  But then again money talks.

Local - I heard the lefty from Park was headed to Bemidji.  How do you think he will fare up there next year.  He seems to be able to score in bunches.

Saw former Hamline AD Dan O'Brien last night at the Gopher scrimmage - just three or four weeks into the job and he's loving his Director of Football Operations position. I guess I would too if my job was "running" the program. He really does it all.

On a related note, the Gophers really blow. Zero passes thrown more than 10 yards down field. Spry caught a screen and ran one in. Hopefully the players coming this summer can help out, or watch out for an '07 repeat.

Reporter: "Sid, which side won?"
Grandpa Sid: "I thought they both sucked. These kids coming in better be good or this is going to be a (bleep) season."

What are you talking about?  the gopher offense went up against the vaunted Minnesota Defense.  ;D  I'm surprised they scored at all.

I do have a feeling the guy i was sitting by at the dome last night (all-american marquies gray) might be able to make an immediate impact for the gophs.

AO - you know you can never post again don't you?  Great symmetry

Never in the history of the D3 sports boards has this ever happened! I'd give you karma or smite you, but why mess up a good thing.  ;D

If I was you I would officially retire "AO" & come up with a new moniker like Scourge of the West or something.  ;)  Just kidding on the last name, but I would seriously consider retiring AO and have it ingloriously enshrined in the D3Sports Posters Hall of Shame.   You've achieved a degree of notoriety that surpasses even the other Hall of Smiter - Touchdown Tommy.  ;)

The rich apparently get richer....I spent part of my day at the Magic Invitational Tournament in Bloomington today and was told that St. Thomas is also getting a commitment from 6-7 Como Park senior Greg Morse.  Morse will play both hoops and the pigskin for the Tommies.
