yo, 3, I mean Dallas.  You been back, cat?

Bobo...  Holy Hell, thanks for the info, Does Cannon guy have enough powder?

Griz just cemented himself as one 1/2 step ahead of Kleppe.  IMHO.

My take. Whatever happened in the locker room at half time must have been "inspiring" ;D  WW looked like a different team. Pass coverage changed and the D line finally started getting allot of pressure on the QB. Like I said last week NCC would watch the Capital film and see that he underneath pass would work and they used it all day pretty effectively. All around best O production of the year. I know Beaver will always be the man, rightly so, but the O line today was outstanding and Jones once again stepped up in a huge way in a big game. I need a drink  ;) ;)

Ok, WTF happened?  It was 21-0 Double Dubs when I went to lunch.  I come back and WTF?

I mean, I love it, but, it sounds like crazy styles happened.  Can somebody hook a warhawk up with the details?

Heck of a game, Dallas...it's been awhile since we've seen an explosive, quick-strike offensive like this today...take away the ugly 2nd quarter and part of the 3rd, and it would have been a lot easier on the heart...

Ryan Orgizovich was certainly Kleppe-ish, today.  What a huge game!

I don't really enjoy the games where the opposing team can move the ball at will against the Hawk's D.  If not for the early mistakes by NCC (big first TD run by Beaver, interception returned for a TD), this game could have turned out MUCH differently for UWW.  NCC was outplaying them until the fourth quarter in my opinion.  I guess that's why you play 4 quarters, right!?!?!

Voice kept making comments on the broadcast about running Beaver up the middle and it not working.  I was wondering that myself.  He was going no where when they ran it up the middle, but they kept trying to force it in there.  That was frustrating to listen to.

Cannon guy had to ice the barrel down and get Ben-Gay on his packing shoulder.. ;D

It's been a while, GB.  Home for Christmas last year, but havn't been to the Perk since the UWW/SJU playoff game two years ago.  No travels over the holidays this year...gotta little corner due in Feb!

Go Hawks!

Old School G

Congrats to the Blugolds...

What a terrific season it has been! As a fan, it's great to see a bunch of guys come together, play with chips on their shoulders, and show what they as a team can do to prove the doubters wrong...

What a marvelous ride it was; although it stings right now, in a few days, when you look back, you can be proud of what you all accomplished - that being one of the best teams in school history...

Thanks for a wonderful year...

Observations from the BU EC game.

Bethel is not impressive at all.

Eau Claire's defense is very good.

Give Eau Claire a QB that was a passing threat in that game and they beat Bethel by 17 points.

Bethel isn't impressive but scores 21 on a "very good" defense?

How about giving Eau Claire a wide receiver who can catch the ball.  That was the difference, not who was throwing the ball.

Hey freebird -

One of the Blugold receivers who can catch the ball, Tony Hull - in fact, our top wideout - was actually playing quarterback today... He's our sixth QB on the season, making his first collegiate start at the position, in his final game. Hull was filling in for our fifth-string QB, who, despite being knocked out for today's game last week, put us into the playoffs this year, in part by passing to the Hull, the guy who played QB today...

Considering Tony Hull hasn't played QB since high school, I think he did the best he could under a week's worth of practice, and wasn't going to be airing it out... He ran the option today, kept the team in the ball game, and they just came up short...

And yes, the Blugold D is very good. But not for their performance the whole year, coupled with special teams play, this team may not have made it to the playoffs...

bulk19, +k - the real fans who follow this board understands the trials the Blugolds have been through this year at the QB position and commend them for competing so well today under the adverse conditions.  Considering the fact the Hull was pressed into QB duty today and nearly pulls out a victory speaks volumes about the team guy that he must be.  IMO, they not only belonged in the playoffs, but if they hadn't been so snake bitten at the QB position, probably would have had enough to beat the MIAC's best on their home turf. A super job by the players and coaching staff.  There is no reason to explain anything to anybody.

bobo & bulk,
Freebird must be brain dead or a drive by bowling addict so don't fret about it. Maybe he/she thinks Hull could throw to himself ??? ??? .
EC has the heart of a lion. Be proud men.  You left everything on the feild today and that's all anybody could ask for.
Hawks on to next week.  8) 8) 8)

My point is if the EC guys had caught a few more of the balls Tony Hull threw(many his brother) they might have pulled the game out.  They are a very good team with a great defense.

You also should give the BU offense some credit for scoring 21 points on your great defense.  That says a lot.
