Ummm, I think you missed a guy at O-tackle. Derrick LeVake, conference player of the year at O-tackle in 97. That man is still one of the most intimidating people ever even when he smiles. Also Bill Schroeder at WR. How many other WIAC players can say that they were rated a 90+ on Madden?

As much as I'd like to agree with the list, I also realize that I do not know enough about the WIAC history, other than LeVake being a monster, to make an educated ranking.

And is it just me or does this seem like the right time for somone to pull some random player from 1974 out of their sleeve and place it on the table?

Willie, with a quarterfinal playoff game on the horizon, maybe this sort of thing is better left for the off-season.  It seems a little Whitewater top-heavy anyway.  I wonder how it will be received by the rank-and-file of this board...?

I'll bite -
Some considerations - I confess, though, I don't recall many of the non-skill players who played on the O and D lines over the years...

UWEC - Darrell Souhrada, Roger Vann and Lee Weigel, all RBs
UWL - Steve Teeples DB (oops, he's been mentioned), Joel Williams LB, Ted Pretasky RB
Platteville - Chris Charnish QB
UW River Falls - Greg Corning RB
UW Stevens Point - Cody Childs RB

Tail right between the legs for sure.  I dont care what the score is during the game all that matters is the score at the end of the horn.  Anybody can play a half of football.  NC got stomped, you have a lot of work to do.

As for the all time teams, I would have no clue just alot of hear say.  Guys not mentioned would be the Taltons and Thaddeus from Lax and Trey Bell.  Just to name a few.

Here comes the all boys school from Indiana.  HAHAHAHA

By the way I just throwing it out there but the St. Johns era is way over.

It's not just enough to win, but you have to be classless ass afterwards.  Have you met TDT?  You may have a soulmate.

By the way I just throwing it out there too (that hurt to type, much less say in my mind as I typed it), but the WW era has lasted four years.  Good luck in '08.  I think the LAX guys will be dominating this board.

Hey Goo...

Where is your Stagg Bowl Championship?

Hey, Goo, that Johnnie Nation that you have unexplicable chosen to offend for no reason has had many of their membership vote for Beaver for the Gagliardi Award.  A very large and enthusiastic group for him to have on his side.
"Of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong!"  Dennis Miller

"Three things you don't want to be in football, slow, small and friendly!"  John Madden

Nice turnout by the NCC fans at the Perk....welcome back Matt Gifford...what a game by Ogrizovich...Anthony White with good pressure on the QB also

The NCC QB was pretty good, probably the best I have seen at the Perk this year

I expect to see a lot of passing by Wabash this week also...nickel package by the Hawks will see a lot of action

Goo. I know that you don't represent the vast majority of the posters here, which is good because you are an idiot. St John's has the best record in all college football over the past FIFTY-FIVE years. Even if you are right about it being over, Not a bad run Eh? In the past ten years 111 - 16. What do you have that can match that. This year, 10 - 2, an off year. I disagree with Oz, It's been a good 3 years for you. Get a clue.

Is this actually listed somewhere? I know your coach has the most individual coaching win in that span but this is the first I've heard this particular claim.

It's in the Johnnie program. I would have thought you picked one up while attending the game there this year.

Pat Coleman

I did. I didn't find anything indicating I'd won anything, however. Was there a use to that publication besides endless giveaway announcements? :)

Seriously, during a game I have other things going on than reading a program cover to cover.

I actually just checked it again, and it did not compare the Johnnies to other D III schools. Only, D I (A and AA, or whatever they'e called now) and D II schools records.

What did you do on the trip back home? You must have been wasting your time working on the website.
