Congrats to Beavs and Griz...D3 West Region O/D POYs

Wow, congrats to them indeed. Not sure if anyone read the article that posts the all-region team on D3football.com, but they metioned Kleppe winning the Defensive POY for 2007 in the first paragraph..oops (congrats to Kleppe as well i guess ;))!!

Thanks for sending me an e-mail so we could correct that.

Quite the list for all-region.  I am not sure how much I agree with it, but the SID's do vote.  I am glad at least the site has an all-region team out to chat about.

UWW - 9 total 1st in conference
UW0 - 5           3rd
UWRF - 4         7th
UWEC - 2        2nd
UWS - 1          Tied 4th
UWSP - 1        Tied 4th
UWL - 1          Tied 4th
UWP - 0          8th

I guess you don't think a team with a 3-7 record can have four good players? Since it takes 22 to field a team I'm sure it takes more than four to be a good team.

Just a side note to all y'all using y'all in your posts.

I went to a HUGE church convention where kids from all over the nation came when I was in high school for 5 days.  The first two days were spent making fun of all the Texans and their politically incorrect grammar due to our overuse of the word y'all.  However, the next three days were hilarious to me because as everyone used the word to make fun of us, I think they realized the time it saves instead of using "you all".  By the end just about everyone I talked to in our smaller groups was using it in their everyday language.

So be careful northerners!  Don't use it to much too poke fun or you might end up using it yourself!!!

I'm not going to comment on that. Far be it from me to argue with some one who has 5 days high school under their belt. I'll leave that for those who graduated.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

I shall return the same courtesy shall UMHB wins. If UW-W loses they will have nothing to hang their head about. They would have been beaten by a great opponent. If UMHB loses, they too have nothing to hang their head about. I have alot of respect for Programs like MUC, UWW, and UMHB. My rant in October was due to sheer frustration of the game that just took place. I apologize if I was out of hand and made UW-W fans feel like I don't respect the Warhawks. They are a great opponent and a first class program.

We just got to our Hotel in Deerfield, IL about 45 minutes from Midway Airport. Weather a chilly 29 degrees with snow everywhere. Our plane was supposed to leave at 5:40 but was delayed until 7:15. The current temperature is good football weather to me. I'm sure it will be colder in Wisconsin, but if the suns out tomorrow I don't think it will be to bad. I guess we'll see. GO CRUSADERS!!
Apology accepted and right back at you. My point in Oct. was that good teams have a way of making good team play badly.  Both these teams are great teams.  I am glad that you have arrived safely in the frigid midwest.  Dress very, very warm.    Here's to a  great and injury free game played by both teams.  Enjoy the atmosphere at the Perk.  The UWW folks are great fans and win or lose, we will be proud of each and every one of these Warhawks and their great coaching staff and thankful for all the amazing moments that this team and this group of seniors have given the Warhawk family.  That being said, I fully expecting one more week to tailgate on the East coast.  Go Warhawks!

Just as a side note to the game, Josh Welch's dad won't be at the game today and were the Cru to win possibly not at the Stagg.  Welch's dad coaches Copperas Cove High in a State Semi-Final game this afternoon and should they win, he'd be in the finals next week.  Here's to the Welch Family.

Go Cru

Prepare for a vast increase in the number of students at the game today. DLK's free tickets were all gone by wednesday.

Well, it's 7:15am and time to crack open the first beer of the day for me. Here's to hoping we have a long and successful day as warhawk fans!

As Al Ackerman starts his stroll to the finish line, it appears that Darryl Sims has opened a slight lead over Pat Cerroni and Todd Hofner as the candidates race down the home stretch of the Oshkosh Titan Derby.

Janesvilleflash--

I guess my syntax usage in that last post would suggest that I was only in high school for a total of five days!!!

Thank you for sharing and belittling my educational shortcomings for all to see. To think I had everyone fooled this entire time!  ;D ;D

Great Job, Brady Pitz on the intros.  I still am crying over here about the Gabe Schulz comment.  Hilarious.
