I'm not bothered by being redundant, and will offer my Congratulations to Mr Justin Beaver for being slected to receive the Gagliardi award.

I haven't seen any reference to two other items. A very nice write up in the Sunday Miwaukee Journal Sentinel on the UWW/UMHB game, and a little blurb in the December 17 edition of ESPN The Magazine (the one with Joba Chamberlain on the cover) on UWW being the only team who could beat MUC. It's on page 126 in "The Blitz." It was written before Saturday's games. Glad it didn't jinx the Warhawks. Pound the Perk, Pack the Rock. Good Luck fellows.

Also in that issue of ESPN Magazine is an article about NJCU basketball player Dana John.  It is a brief look at someone truly playing for the love of the game.

Here are my 5 reasons:  All 5 starting MUC O-Linemen will be recalled by Ohio State right before kickoff.  Let's be honest, they have been the difference the last two years.  Their "skill" guys always have and always will be average.

Ok maybe not just that, it's their O-line and undersized yet incredibly athletic and aggressive defense are the real reasons for their dominance.

But, not to worry Double Dubs faithful, Da' Beav just won the Heisman (Gagliardi),  Da' Hawks have been on ESPN the last three years, and they are starting to put guys in the league.  A few guys will get a shot this year too.  I promise you, the recruits/transfers they get will be insane.

MUC Faithful, this is what they call the writing on the wall.  End of an era, it's due time for a changing of the guard.
Billy-o, man!

The pickem is up.  Check out the proposal for the Stagg Bowl designed to make things a bit more interesting.  Le me know your thoughts!  I think janesvilleflash might like it the best, as it gives him a chance (though slim) to take over the playoff lead.

Hey,
Anyone who knows of any prominent MUC or UWW alum planning to go to the game Saturday (and by prominent, I probably mean ex-players, but be creative), drop the name and probable arrival time to Keith@D3football.com. Might respond with a request for more info.

Also, I have several Stagg Bowls on video, but I do not have the access to the past two. If anyone has those games in full, especially either on DVD or online somewhere, please let me know at the same e-mail address.

Thanks.

K-Mack,
When Whitewater wins this Saturday are you going to change your message at the bottom of your posts to "K-Mack: The UW-Whitewater of the message boards"??  ;D
