Wow.  What a fabulous game to watch.  Congrats. to everyone.  Badgerwarhawk, take some deep breaths, you"ll be fine.  Not to beat a dead horse, but the basketball board has a poster recap of the Oshy game and points out that the PA announcer did not call out the
ww score.  Way to go boys.  You have made your point.

Congrats to the Warhawks!!!  Excellent game and very fun to watch.  The D was lights out and flew to the ball all day, very disciplined tackling, and great strips.

Beaver was unbelievable!

Awesome job - National Champions!

Ok, Stoutguy, I'm doing alright.  I was pretty wild yesterday though.  I'm telling myself it's simply coincidence that we win the one time I stay home.

It's been a long time coming but patience and hard work have paid off and we can finally say WE'RE #1.   Congrats to everyone involved.  It's hard to describe how proud I feel to be a WARHAWKGUY today.

Somebody call Oshkosh and give them the word.  ;)

Congratulations UWWW, didn't think it would happen but glad that it did.  Spent most of the day traveling but saw the end of the first half in a MSP airport bar, no sound just reading the impaired hearing scroll, was wondering if the announcers ever quit kissing LK and Mounts arse as the game wore on?
No they have been kissing the butts of the second place purple raiders since 2005. Next year hopfully two things will happen Pam Ward will do the d1 soccer championship, and we will get someone who knows something about football, and also realizes that there are two teams on the field
GO WARHAWKS YOU POUND THE PURPLE RAIDERS 2007 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS

I wouldn't draft the kid based on his attitude. I was only 2 rows up from him after the game. I kept yelling, "Hey #1!! Go shake hands with the winners!!"

But then again, NFL coaches put up with a lot worse.
Yeah---but they put up with that crap from Division 1 stars---Garcon's attitute certainly hurts his chances as did his performance (or lack of one) yesterday.
Go Cats!

Derek Stanley makes his pro debut with a 19 yard kick off return for the Rams against the Packers.

From one Nat'l Champion team '04 to another, Congratulations Warhawks for a great victory.  Yet another amazing rushing performance from Justin Beaver. The Wildcats couldn't stop him any better than the Purple Raiders. I salute your victory over the perennial best.

So.....do you suppose Micheli will want to transfer to WW to get a shot at a championship next year???

I have wondered on this board which one of the Warhawk teams over the last three years is the best....well I guess that debate is over. This team got better every game and probably beat the best Mount Union team of the three. Igot to admit the way the defense stooped the big mouth Garcon was truly a delight to watch and a surprise. Great job Oline and everyone.....Pound the Rock.....

Actually, UWW doen't need a QB transfer......they have a very good one coming up.....

As a member of the MIACPP...I want to congratulate UWW for representing the WEST so well, I know you came out of the North to get to the final, but you are a WEST team, way to go...

Great game plan, great offensive line...and anything I would say about Beaver would not be enough, EXCEPT...he truly represented and is overwhelmingly deserving of the Gagliardi Trophy, he was the best player on the field yesterday, hands down.

The ring is the thing, congrats Warhawks...honestly I was not sure you would be able to do it, but am extremely happy you did.

And not having to look at that hot dogging leap into the end zone in the 2006 game on D3football.com's home page any longer is nice too.  ;)

Derek didn't do anything exceptional but it was nice to see him in an NFL game.  I think, other than Matt Turk, he is the only other WARHAWK player to see action in a regular season NFL game.   Kudos Derek.
