Yes Titans it is. A number of Warhawks say he is the best that they have played against. AJ can go helmut to helmut with him in my humble opinion.

There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.

Sorry to point out flaws, but its pretty easy to see why no NFL team used a draft pick on Beaver because

a) size - not the typical NFL RB size

b) injury history.

However, Beaver is going to try with a team that has plenty of RB's who IMO shouldn't be starters in the NFL (Side note : Ryan Grant = Dorsey Levens, maybe 2 good years. Maybe).

I think Beaver might make the team, and who knows , with some luck get some playing time. I know its a long shot, but he does have unbelievable talent for a football player that has been through so much.

I don't think injury history had much to do with it.....he broke a collarbone...and was back in three weeks. His height didn't have a ton to do with it either, although I'm sure it was a factor.

The main reason he didn't get drafted was simple - he played football at the D-III level. Two out of 252 people who were drafted were from D-III schools, the odds were simply against him.

That being said, Beav has the intangibles that many backs lack. He'll impress this weekend. He'll be invited back in July. We're all rooting for you Beav!

There's some news on the front page of D3football.com to that end. :)

Justin Beaver and AJ Raebel checked into their respective rookie orientation camps this afternoon.

Raebel, a flatlander and Chicago Bears' fan has been given a locker next to former Bear WR, Bernard Berrian who is now a Viking.

As Beaver walked into Lambeau Field, FOX 6 in Milwaukee veteran Packers' reporter Tim Van Vooren interviewed Beaver which was aired on this evening's 6 PM local new block. Van Vooren ended the package calling Beaver "an outstanding player" with a real chance to make the team.

A good start to the weekend for both former Warhawks

voice, any link to that?

BEAVER-BELIEVER

Everyone on this board including old-Indian should be proud of both Justin and A.J.
Here is to both of them making their respective teams 47 man roster, and success for both of them of course not for A.J. when the Vikes play the Packers.
Seeing that I am moving a couple of states to the northwest. I hope to see Packers play but am sure I will see the Vikings as I will be a state away from the land of 10,000 lakes.

UWWFAN,

No link  to the Beaver story.  I watched it live both at 6 and 10 on Fox6 Milwaukee.

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Beaver Believer......I don't know if you can count on Old Indian but best of luck from us in ChiTown to Beav and A.J.....Whether A.J. makes the team or not I will continue to despise the entire Minnesota Vikings organization....

Goo 62

I am so sick of the flat lander thing.  It makes no sense.  I am from a western suburb of Chicago and the lands are not flat.  Their are buildings and restaurants and parks.
Unlike 90% of Wisconsin that I have seen.  That is one of the dumbest terms I have ever heard.

Don't forget my goo friend that "the voice" on a broadcast of a warhawk game your redshirt year refered to some fine Illinois product as a "FLATLANDER" which shows his ignorance and lack of state by state diversity.  We get it D3 football isn't as strong in Illinois, why do you think more and more guys from the land of lincoln are coming up to uww.  And let's set the record straight, Whitewater isn't exactly that far from the state line.  I agree Goo, Come up with something new other than F.I.B. or flatlander it's old! Good luck mama's boy raebel and I too am a Beaver Believer!! Go Hawks!!

I had to bite at this one...The lands are in fact flat, especially the Oak Park/River Forest area and the rest of the western suburbs. The only "hills" in Oak Park is a slight hill that exists due to the old water shed of Lake Michigan a long long time ago. Illinois is flat as the state had far fewer glaciers back in the day to cause the hills, lakes, valleys and such that WI has. Hence, people from Illinois, a state that is VERY flat, are called Flatlanders. Let me know if I should further dumb that down.

Ok...back to the Mini-camp talk   :D

I grew up in east central Illinois. No one who ever lived there could argue the term flat lander.
