Your contradictions are staggering.  What about the semi-pro baseball, hockey, etc and farm teams.  Many sports have different levels and opportunities to play just below pro level.   So your arguement is that in football only, it should be the NFL or bust?

In Baseball the minor league teams are part of a Major league organization. Just like NHL teams have minor league teams, that they can pull players up from when needed, and therefore the players in the minor's contracts are owned by a major league franchise.
Know if the bone crushers were a minor league team for the Bears and The contracts were owned by the Bears and they could call Razor up to replace Rex Grossman in the middle of the season it would be different. However that's not the case. Same goes for the outdoor semi pro football leagues. The Wolf pack is not a minor league team for the Packers. Know there have been a few exceptions in arena league ball such as Kurt Warner. However there are so many different Arena leagues, I don't even know which one Kurt Warner, and a few other players who made it to the NFL came from and which one they didn't.
Like I said Football is very unique as they don't have a minor league farm system, and it's only suppose to be played for a certain amount of years unless you have enough talent to ake it to the Big Show aka the NFL. So yes in football it's NFL or Bust.
Okay know onto a more important topic Any news about Justin Beaver, or is it time to realize that the Packers are not going to signing him to a contract. >:( >:( >:( >:(

We all know who BEAVER BELIEVER is.  I just don't want to comment on him.

Okay,
I stand corrected. I did not realize so many players some who I do recognize mainly kickers that made it from AFL1 and AFL2.
I feel that there are too many arena leagues though,as the Bone crushers are not in AFL1 or 2.
However I wish captainkurt and the rest of the coaches of the Bonecrushers the best of luck as they try and correct the mess that Gilber Borwn and his clowns made. I saw one game on Tv and Whitewater high school could have beaten them that day.
However that was before the new staff took over and Razor decided to continue his football career while finishing his college education.

Division III alumnus Fred Jackson (Coe) made it to the Buffalo Bills this past season, and he started way, way down the indoor football food chain: National Indoor Football League.

UW-Whitewater's football team appears to be gaining 3 incoming freshman and a transfer:

Mr. Believer's comments are borderline painful.  Although I do get what he is saying.  He is just to dumb to say right.
Who cares how many people in this world want to keep playing football?
You said it yourself,  football isnt a sport you can just pick up and go play so they make leagues that dont pay as much for guys to play in because they love the sport.  Nobody is saying that its the NFL.  And I got news for you there are great players in AFL.  As the list shows on previous posts.

The average salary is roughly $60,000 per year.  Mark Grieb is reported to make well over $120,000.

That looks like an ok living to me.

I heard that Mike Hintz kid is a stud. I think he's the one who got his third or fourth concussion and sat out his senior year at Hale. He was being recruited by D-1 schools before that and then his doctors said he shouldn't play footblal ever again. Obviously something has changed since then.

I didn't see this mentioned here earlier, but it appears the cover boy for the PSP version of the next EA Sports college football game will be a familiar face.

Bummer about the Beav.  I was hoping to see him make it - a Mugsy Bogues type story.

Well, let's hope he gets his break in the next couple months.

Bonecrushers Fans, have you seen who the commissioner of the Continental Indoor Football League is?

None other than a member of the latest College Football HOF, Jim Ballard.

Thats pretty cool that Owen Schmit will be on the cover of NCAA 09. I remember him his freshman year at UWRF. He was a beast.

Hot off the wires about Danny Jones. Off to Sweden to play for the Stockholm Mean Machine for the summer. Hard to find out exactly what they are all about as the web page is in Swedish. Go figure  ;) Great gig for him to keep his skill set honed in, experience a different culture and get paid. Wishing him and the team the best of luck.
There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.
