I just assume that stealth was enjoying some golden nectar. So I'll give him a pass. No one could be sober and do that. ;D

I've done similar things...and I don't even partake in such beverages...what does that say about me?   :-\  :-[

...that's just rhetorical, retagent.

Comments from St. Louis Rams Head Coach Scott Linehan to the media following the Rams first practice at Concordia Mequon included this little bit about Derek Stanley:

"It really helps and makes him much more comfortable knowing the system and the speed of the game. He came from a small school although I don't think that was really a big issue with him. It was more of being consistent and getting yourself ready to go each practice. All young players have highs and lows. I see more of a confident player and a guy that has worked hard on the mental side of the game so he could play fast."

Have you guys seen the blog?  This is beyond ridiculous...

Every year Princeton Review releases a set of rankings that colleges trumpet ("One of the Top Schools in the Country!") or down play ("Rankings, schmankings"). Here is a quick look at which Division III schools cracked the lists related to sports. I wouldn't take them too seriously after seeing who made the list of places where intercollegiate sports is supposedly unpopular. But they might help people pass the time through a slow offseason.

Intercollegiate sports unpopular or nonexistent
1. Eugene Lang College (NY)
2. St. John's (MN): Don't look at me! It's not my list.
14. University of Chicago
15. NYU
16. SUNY-Purchase
17. Harvey Mudd College (part of Claremont-Mudd-Scripps athletics)
20. Emerson College

I could make some half-assed comment about the Johnnies being frauds, but .... I mean, come onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn.

Scratching my head on that one .....

Maybe they didn't count football for some reason ? ! ? ! ?
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Voice,  I saw the new Warhawk Football Poster on warhawkfootball.com.  Is there any way for an old 'Hawk to get his hands on a couple?  I would like to hang one in my classroom and maybe our locker room.

The Johnnies have also won the last two DIII National Championships in golf, routinely have competitive wrestling teams, and have made a number of Basketball tourneys. In my day, the track and Cross Country teams were good also, don't know if that's still the case. Quite a puzzler on this one.

91 - The posters are currently at the printer.  You should have your posters in a couple of weeks.

Stanley injured at practice, but returned later.

If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

BoBo

It's a good thing he returned since the way they are talking on the Rams blogs, he can't afford to miss any time due to injury in the Rams hotly contested WR race for a roster spot.

As for me, I'll be on the DL for an extended period - broke my ankle last Tuesday mountain/rock climbing, the first day of my vacation  :-[.  Actually makes sitting at the computer rather difficult, too.  So, I'll probably spend a lot of time in front of the television catching up on movies, etc.  Not the way I wanted to spend my vacation.

You need to get a pair of these penguin slippers and take it easy for a while.

BoBo,
Sorry to hear your laid up. Better leave the mountain climbing to the mountain goats next time.
Vodka and Vicodan will take the edge off. ;D. The little fellas are rallying the family around you and are sponsoring a 100 yard waddle event with all proceeds going to the the Mrs. Bobo aggravation fund.

There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.
