Warhawk 96

Thanks for the clarification on the proper name of the purple jewels.

After looking at the roster and seeing what we have in camp, I'm very excited to watch the Warhawks play this year. OKAAAAAAY I'M RELOOAADED ;D

Oh yeah, that is the same Rob Perry from Basketball. Well, our cards have been shown. What do the other WIAC teams have?

Very interesting from the roster posted:

Rich Downie   OL  6'3"  141 lbs.  FR  Olympia Fields, Illinois/Marion Catholic

Kind of makes you go  ???

Also, that other highly touted RB discussed a while back, Levell Coppage, 5'9" 180 lbs from Oak Park, IL, is listed.

There are stories online about Downie from last year at 230.  I'm guessing it's a typo, and should read 241.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Question, is that the same Rob Perry from the basketball team who was a senior this year? He is listed as a freshman. Does he have any eligibility left?

Also, no Josh Jackson on the list.

There are a couple of breaks in that scan - and in one spot it even looks like there is the top edge of another line (below Mathison).

So I'm wondering if there might be a bit more beyond what we can see on that list - (one gap is between Huber and Jaro - and Jackson would fit in that gap ... )

You see, there was this guy on the grassy knoll ...  8)

I want to be the first to quash the idea that any names are missing from UWW's preseason roster. That guy that runs Warhawkfootall.com is just not very handy with the edit.  It might have something to do with his stroke a couple of years ago.  But the truth is he is just not that handy putting together multi-page PDF files.

I smell some rotten eggs in Denmark, some shenanigans in Sweden, some wiftiness in Whitewater. We're going to get to the bottom of this bottomless pit.

Retagent; there is definitely a need for detailed investigation here...  The lack of evidence combined with innocent mistakes can only mean one thing: Conspiracy!  Piracy!  Shifty Dealings!

We eagerly await your reports on the following loose and unexplained threads...

Interestingly the Rob Perry on the football roster is the same height/weight and has the same high school listed as the Rob Perry on the basketball roster.   I thought he had used his eligibility...

Dennis Void was listed as a Junior two years ago in the 2006 season.  What's up with that?  He's not listed listed on the 2007 roster.  So, does he have an extra year of eligibility for some reason?  In any case, it looks like this is his last year, no?

Any reasonable or straight forward explanations must be dismissed.  That's just what the conspirators would want us sheeple to believe...  At this point, I don't think we can trust anything.

The obvious answer to your question is YES...there are 7 other football-playing teams in the WIAC.

Why don't their supporters initiate or participate in dialogue on here? Maybe the same reason you don't.  You see, anyone can review your posting history, and I gotta tell you tm343407, you're like the pot calling the kettle black (or as we say here in Korea, 똥 묻은 개가 겨 묻은 개 나무란다 - The dung-stained dog scoldes the chaff-stained dog). You've had a user account for nearly 1 year, and yet you've gone out of your way to make a grand total of 3 posts in 23 minutes online participating in the "conversation."   ::)

Not exactly an impressive array of numbers for someone raising the questions such as yours.  I hope to see you more active in the future!!

What are you implying, Mr. Ypsi?  Anyone can tell by just looking at those girls...................they're all at least 16 yrs old!        ::)  ;)

BoBo is right.  This complaint arises every so often on here.  I have noticed a direct correlation over the last few years on the WIAC board.  The more successful the Warhawks became, the less posters we have had from other WIAC programs.  Can hardly be blamed on the Whitewater posters, IMHO. In fact, I don't remember who but I recall a UWW poster on here asking for more info recently about what other WIAC teams had this season and no one offered.  I, for one, would be happy to talk about other programs but I only can talk about what I know.  We need posters from other programs to step up to the plate. You got anything?

OK, how is the QB situation looking at Eau Claire?

Actually, the individual listed as Rob Perry, is the brother of Steve Perry, one time "Journey" lead singer, who was the driving force of that group along with guitarist Neil Schon, who, at one time played with Santana, which means that Johann Santana will be the pitcher for the Warhawks football team this year. ;)

As last years WIAC Pick'em Season Champion, footballfan413, isn't it your responsibility to get the ball rolling on the organization for the 2008 Pick'em contest?  I think it's time to start rounding up the usual suspects and maybe lasso a few of the newer posters and popular guest stars on the WIAC board for seasons worth of fun and games.  What do you think??? :P  ;)
