How about it Barber Greene, SheckDiesel, racinewarhawk91, AAholder, etc?...Game on, Gentleman.  The more, the merrier! ;)

stealth, where are you?  Falcon guys? dallas? do I dare say old indian? there's also a few blugolds, too.  Time to step up!!

I guess I have no choice but to participate.

The choice is all yours to accept or decline, dallas - but if you decide not to participate, we have to think about changing your user name to...Waxahachie or someother place like that.  :-\  just kidding

Waxahachie?  Well, that makes my decision an easy one!  Dallas for life, baby!

footballfan413

BoBo,
Add Barber Greene to that list.  He said he was in on the pick'em's board.

Where's BadgerWarhawk?  He us usually at the head of the line for pick-em??? :-\

janesvilleflash

BadgerWarhawk said he was in on an August 19th post. Must have been overlooked by the list makers.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Ya, I remember that.  Got on board rather quickly and I know he will bring his A-game.   ;D Only deadline here really is that anyone that wants a real shot at winning needs to post picks before the first kick-off of first weekend.  Warhawks open on Friday night, the 5th, at 7:00.  Anyone can join up any time.  We had a few join after the first game or two last season but hard to be any threat to win it starting from a deficit like that.  Isn't that right, BDB?   ;)

Good Grief...how did I miss that?

My apologies bw, for the grievous error.

Here is the complete list - current up to the minute (I hope):

I guess I better keep my day job since I'm lousy at maintaining lists...oh, wait a minute - I really don't have a day job!!  I'm guilty of having too much time on my hands..

And you even posted his name with appropriate colors like he would.  I am impressed! Just put your karma at 3 figures, BoBo.   :)

I'm all for picking a special game each week outside of the WIAC, but would prefer to have somebody else choose the games since I have a some what limited knowledge of teams outside of the WIAC.

Let me know what you guys think and we'll get it done.

I think we all have a limited knowledge of teams outside of the WIAC....maybe we could take a vote on which game to include....maybe one of the big games of the week according to d3football staff...that way we would probably be getting some info about the teams playing

stealth

BG,
I like your idea of us playing along with Pat and Keith on the game of the week. If however the game of the week is a WIAC match up we will have to figure out an alternative.

I've been spending some time looking at the week by week schedules to find good candidates for the bonus game.

I would think it would be best if we mixed it up as much as possible - no teams more than once or twice, at least until playoffs.

Week 1 - either:
St John Fisher - Mount Union  or  Wesley - Christopher Newport

Others deserving strong consideration:
Wk 5 St John's - Bethel
Wk 7 Miss College - Mary Hardin Baylor
Wk 9 Trinity - Millsaps rematch
Wk 11 Wabash - DePauw

Obviously the storyline of the season would have to unfold to bring out the surprise teams and match-ups down the road.  (So we shouldn't make all the selections now)
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

No need to apologize, Bobo.  Penquins have short attention spans so it's understood. ;D

I would have caught it earlier but I've had a bit of medical problem that put me in the hospital for the past week and was just discharged today.   As far as that goes no need for alarm.  I can't return to work for a couple of weeks yet but the crisis is past and I'm on the mend.

Those two would be great ones for sure.  Both games are between huge conference rivals.    Sort of like the Whitewater/Lacrosse of the MIAC and NCAC.   ;D

So sorry to hear about your health issues, BW.  Welcome back and hope you are good as new very soon.
