OK, I'm in the WIAC pick-em. I'm a long time reader, no time poster.
I just need to beat a certain 2 other participants to make my season.
Looking forward to tomorrows game and getting back to the Perk for tailgating and all the hoopla with the new field, new entrance, new team and seeing last years seniors on the field one last time with their rings shining bright.

WOW, this is really shaping up to be the mother of all WIAC pick'ems!!

With only a few hours remaining to get your picks in, this is the way the roster looks (later we'll assign you a number, height, weight, etc  ;D )

Success for me means finishing higher than only 1 other guy - care to guess?  (and it's not fbf413!)

Good luck to everybody...

As the "Defending Champ," for the Pick em's and considering this increase in the number of participants, I will just be happy to finish in, what most would consider, a respectable spot.  Hoping I and the defending Champion Warhawks don't fall off too much this season.  I am confident that they have reloaded.  Me...........I just may have to settle for getting loaded.   ;) :D ;D

Pierre Who ???     :D

I think you'll find it hear:

44°22′5″N, 100°20′11″W

Now that was clever.  +K 4U

I think the cleverness would be more impressive if I could learn how to spell correctly!!  ::)  ...don't you think?

Good turn out for the Pickem!  Here is a list of all the people who have posted picks for week 1.  If you want to take part in the WIAC Pickem this year and want a chance at winning, get your picks in today before 7PM.  Good luck!

Devil Badger Gopher

Now I know most of the now posters are UWW alums, but I had no idea that St. Xavier was so highly rated in NAIA.  Isn't there a decent chance the outcome of the game is not a guarantee victory after losing the core senior group from last year?  I am not saying that they are a bad team and expect them a top the WIAC when all is said and done, but with the credentials of their opponent tonight, could they lose?  I mean a loss did not deter them last year, but I was thiking blowout and now I am thinking a very interestign game I may listen to.

Anyway good luck to the WIAC teams and show how dominant the conference is once again.  Go Devils!!!

The Warhawks are a young team and it could take a few games for them to come together as a team. Plus, there may be some distractions tonight because of the championship ceremony. So, yes, I do think this game will be no cake walk. And if it is, I will be very surprised.

Hogan Knows Best

Three reasons why I am so excited for tonight it is making me call it quits for the day and start the pregame festivities.
1) Watch UWW very athletic D run around and make plays
2) See who is the next RB to lead the WIAC in rushing (obviously from UWW)
3) Cause its going to be a really good game
"What'cha gonna do when the 24-inch pythons run wild on you?"

Speaking of hear. Can you send my surrogate nieces and nephews up to the voice and tell him we are having major audio issues with the broadcast on the KOOL. Fortunately I paid Penn Atlantic to watch. They were also having broadcast issues. All that money on the new feild and no money on high bandwidth cable  ::)

There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.

Unfortuately, we're in Asia, so the flying time will get us there too late  ;) .

I can't get the audio for some reason...and I have never been able to get the video as you have to be in the states to receive it.  So, I'm stuck with the Live Stats.

On the bright side, these night games are better for me as it's Saturday morning here...I really don't enjoy having to get up in the middle of the night for a normal afternoon game!!

Hope you get those things working, stealth.

UWW wins 24 - 9 over NAIA St Xavier of Illinois.  Good win over a good team for a young Warhawk squad.  But, a lot of things to work on.  They will only get better.

Regrets:

1.  The audio broadcast didn't work for me.
2.  The video broadcast didn't work for me.
3.  The Live Stats puked out in the second half for me.

But, a win is a win...
