Anybody paying attention to Oshkosh? Does their win over NAIA #2 Ohio Dominican give them any clout going into WIAC play?

Definitely a nice win. We will know more about the clout to give Oshkosh after the game against Eau Claire next week.

Any chance D. Stanley get's promoted from the Practice Squad since the Rams are stinking it up this year?

Is there any rule on how long (years) a player can be on the practice squad?

They just benched their QB, so maybe more moves are on the way. As far as I know there's no time limit on practice squad.

I was hoping he'd be promoted when they had an injury sideline a wide receiver.  However they signed an ex-Ram receiver whom they had released (or maybe he'd retired, I forget) instead.

Right BW, at the time they said they wanted a VETERAN wide reciever. Maybe Stanley still isn't the best route runner or something. Looks like his best chance is as a returner, and their returner has sucked too.

I believe, actually, you can only be on the practice squad for two years or something.

I've always thought it was two seasons as well but Wikipedia says it three seasons.

Live stats for the Puget Sound game to complement the Warhawk broadcast team of Tom and Gary can be found here:

I was hoping for live video also but that is not available.

That would've been sweet...maybe in a more perfect world....!!

BG & everyone else - as you "watch" the live stats and listen to the radio call on Saturday, how do you envision this game playing out? Close? blowout? somewhere in between?  What are your thoughts?

Bobo, I see this game being close for a half. Whitewater will shut down the running game of Puget Sound so Puget will rely on the pass a lot. This will keep them in the game for two or three quarters but eventually the running game of Whitewater will wear the Puget defense down and Puget will turn the ball over a couple of times in the passing game in the second half as Whitewater figures out their passing scheme. I see Whitewater winning 31 or 35 to 21.

Over by the half. UWW in a blow out. 41-10. 2 weeks rest and time to work on the passing game to compliment the running attack. Pungent Sound ranked somewhere south of top 50.

UPS's live stats have not been very reliable so don't be too disapointed if you pull them up only to find the final results of a game from last year or something...  I'm not saying this will be the case but I seem to recall trying pull up UPS live-stats without any luck...  :-\

Warhawks...enjoy your other trip to the Great Northwest. You probably won't get into a Cat fight like you did before so enjoy yourselves...after the game.
