If you guys can keep fielding teams like you  have in the past 4 years, we may get a chance to host you and pay back all that you have been so generous in doling out for that period of time.

If things remain the status quo (at least like the last 4 years), wouldn't SJU always be seeded lower than the Warhawks and you'll make an annual post-season pilgrimage to the Perk?  ;)

You're no MUC yet.  UWW will make it's way back to Clemens Stadium sometime in the not too distant future, with an outcome much like the last time the Warhawks visited the Johnnies.  ;D

Hey Duff
The Crappies are hitting on Lake John south of Annandale. The ice is pretty thin, but some guys are willing to risk life & limb for fresh Crappies!
Give TC and Fins a call & we'll tip back some Hamm's and drop a line  ;)

Now that the Johnnies' season is over, I can turn my hopes and prayers towards getting a solid week-to-10 days of really cold weather before we start getting snow so the lakes can get some clear ice cookin'.  There's already a couple of inches on the bay by my house, but it will be at least into December before the rest of 'Tonka is ready to roll.

Once that happens, though, those crappies better be ready for the epic asskicking that's going to be unleashed.

I love that part  ;D
As of now they're on DOUBLE SECRET Probation!

To badgerwarhawk. If you guys can keep fielding teams like you  have in the past 4 years, we may get a chance to host you and pay back all that you have been so generous in doling out for that period of time. Since the Johnnies have made the playoffs in 15 of the past twenty years, I will assume that will not change.

Don't get me wrong.  We're very pleased with this year's team but many of us think next year's will be even better.   I can only hope that we can build a tradition with the consistancy the John program has had.   It isn't easy in this league but that is our goal and we will give it our best effort.   I look forward to any future match-ups with the John where ever they are played.

OMG, first it was the stupid jokes.  Now it's ice fishing banter.  Is there no end to the way you John fans defile our board?  :D

We are just raising it to a new level, you can thank us later.   ;)  ;D

question for voice,

For 2 consecutive weeks now, my audio of the game broadcast has gone dead midway through the 3rd quarter - at nearly the same part of the game.  After the Platteville game I had my computer looked at by computer whiz and everything checked out...then it happened again last week.  Are you guys experiencing any technical problems on your end - or have you heard of anyone else having similar problems?  I had to tune into the Point/Wartburg game later, which upset me because people who read this board know my feelings of that radio team.

BoBo,

You are the first to indicate that our stream went down in either the Platteville or SJU broadcast.  If anyone suffered similar audio difficulty I'd like to hear about it.  I will investigate  ???

stealth

Happens pretty frequently for the Stealth squad. It was really in and out this weekend. Sometimes we get no connections at all. No offense to the Penn Atlantic announcers but they aren't in the same league as your team voice.

There's only one way to find out if a man is honest...ask him. If he says 'yes,' you know he is a crook.

Mine went out the same time BoBo's did on the Platteville game. Was at the game the other time.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

Great win HAWKS.  Very dominating performance...it seems to me the Hawks just know how to turn it in on when its play-off time.  Anderson looked phenominal, it will be very hard to keep him off the field.  Williamette doesn't stand a chance...Hawks 43 WC 13!!

I wish I'd share your enthusiasm, but our young 'Hawks are going to face an offense like they never seen before. It will take another 05 Linfield type effort to keep up with Willamette.

hopefully they can pull this off

Champs07

First off comparing Willamette to Linnfield '05 is a pretty far stretch!! I don't think Borland's defense will have too much trouble shutting down a much smaller team.  Not too mention when our D-End is probably as fast as anyone on their team their speed doesn't concern me either.  So as I said earlier...GOOD LUCK STOPPING THE HAWKS!!

Listen...I'm not a Willamette fan at all.  However, their O-Line isn't small
OT - 6' 7" 310
OG - 6' 1" 300
C - 6' 0" 280
OG - 6'1" 285
OT - 6' 6" 270

And their best offensive players Woo and Horne are just as fast as others fine playmakers I've seen at our level (and I've seen some greats).  And they have a couple of 6'3" WR this season.  It's a home run hitting offense that can get you in the air or on the ground.  I'm looking forward to the match up of that offense vs the Hawks Defense.

palum

Was at the St. John's WW game are they going to put something down to keep players from slipping when they go out of bounds on the WW when Donovan slipped and the playeer came in to help him up slipped as well Donavan came up limping but still played.  It reminded me of a Packer preseason game a few years ago.  Also whats the plan for the stands on the other side kind of looked odd seeing no people over there.  I went on Willamettes' site and their stadium looks like the one in the movie "Animal House" in the scene where Boone & Otter are hitting golf balls at the ROTC Cadets I know parts of the film were filmed in Oregon could it be? inquiring mind want to know.  Good luck WW
