Indeed, I suspect there's a lot of kids considering both Hiram and Mount Union. :)
Let me see...puppies or purple raiders, puppies or purple raiders?  Schools are only about 30 miles apart.  A lot of guys could probably make the team at Hiram.  Most could only play JV at Mount.  Can I get back to you on that one?  Tough choice.  ???

Is there a YouTube of the 2nd half kickoff by MHB that got caught up in the wind?

I took advantage of halftime to get some stuff done and didn't get back in front of the computer in time to see what was obviously a big play.

(have mercy on me)
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

In NFL action, former Warhawk Derek Stanley (sprained left knee) was injured on a shotgun running play that netted no yards in the 1st quarter of the Rams game vs Seattle.  Derek fumbled on the play and Seattle's Jordan Babineaux's returned it 24 yards for a TD.  Rams Coach Haslett said he'll undergo an MRI exam on Monday but thought the injury was serious.  Rams lost the game 23-20.

You didn't miss it!

The videographer did not capture the play either!   :-\

Congratulations Warhawks.

I was not able to make it to the game and was only able to watch about the last 8 minutes of the 2nd quarter to the weird second half kickoff.  It was a good game then but it sounds like as time went on you began to overcome the CRU.  My father (roocru) and I will both be coming to the Stagg and I will be rooting for you over Mount Union.  (Although I am getting sick and tired of rooting for you in the Stagg as this will be the third year in a row we have seen you play)   ;)

Congratulations on a great season and "re-loading" this year to make it to yet another Stagg Bowl.

Next year will be the year of your demise in the hands of the Crusaders...   :P
YOU KNOW IT!!!!

Just wanted to stop in and Congratulate the 2008 Warhawks.

Your ability to graduate as much talent as you did last year and make it back to the big game is truly a statement.

Good Luck in Virginia....
Why should you go for it on 4th down?

Do we know who's in the booth with her, Pat?

From the discussion, it sounds like many will be muting the TV sound and listening to an audio stream on-line.

Confirmed: Pam Ward on play by play.

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You have got to be kidding me....after having to survive through the last two years (I believe) of Pam Ward butchering the pinnacle of Division 3 football, I am graced with her presence yet again in the heart of the Christmas season.  So much for the Holiday Season!  Why can't ESPN open their eyes and get a different team? (Ray Bentley was legit, however)...too bad Bill Curry ended up going back into coaching at Georgia State, because he and Gary Bender in 2005 were unreal.

Good luck to the Warhawks as they defend their National Title in Salem.....should be an amazing game....Warhawks will fly under the radar yet again and stun the Purple Raiders 31-28, solidifying a new Division 3 football dynasty.....after the Warhawks win #2, more and more players are going to transfer/attend UWW (on top of the entire team coming back next year----minus 6 seniors) and I believe we will continue to reload/rebuild for many years to come......looking at the conference this year (still don't think Point is going anywhere soon), I can't see UWW losing to anyone for a long time.  Big ups to Lance Leipold, Borland, Zebrowski, Dinkle, Nelson Edmonds, Kevin Bullis and the rest of the Warhawk coaching staff (especially Grizz).

One final thought......can the Gagliardi Trophy committee just hurry up and give it to Micheli already....I mean, the guy was a finalist for the Draddy Trophy, is one of the best QB's in the nation (IMO) and plays for Mt. Union for pete's sake.
Contrary to popular belief, Justin Beaver was found to actually have a large "S" on his chest and he actually is INVINCIBLE.

See you in Salem guys!!  With brownies as I promised!!!!

I'm sure I'm a majority of one, but I like Pam Ward,  and enjoy her doing the game.
If you can't ignore an insult, top it; if you can't top it, laugh it off; and if you can't laugh it off, it's probably deserved.

That's because Flash imagines her NAKED as he listens.   :P

That's how Flash rolls........

Soooo........what is one of "the best" microbrews in WI at this time, and can we get some down at the tailgate?

I will be happy to exchange a Lake Erie (actually Great Lakes but I wanted to make sure you knew from which lake the water originated  ;D) Christmas Ale for a taste.....
