The proper spelling is Tony Kornholer. ;)

We educate a lot of teachers, accountants and business people.  I came to WHITEWATER because my girlfriend and another close friend did.  lol  I also prefer smaller communities and it was close to Madison and Milwaukee when I wanted to go there.

As an aside I just want to confirm that you are picking Mount Union, right?

I was wondering if the MIAC had an automatic bid during those years in which there weren't 32 teams in the playoffs.

I can live with Pam though I wish someone better were doing it.  But you get what you get and I'm just glad we aren't getting Tony Kornheiser or however you spell it.

I thought Ray Bentley did a pretty good job last year.  He correctly called for the reversal of the Kmic non-touchdown right away, and was fairly steady.

I certainly enjoyed Ray Bentley's reaction and call when Beaver knocked Darly (sp) Ely into yesterday at the end of that big run before the half!!   :D ;D ;)

Gee sakman, :o Don't get your dress up over your head. I was asking because I only went to one school and therefore have no other experience to compare it to.

Congratulations retagent, the Maytag people just held a news conference to announce that thing inside the washing machine that goes around and around has just been renamed the retagent...they indicated since they serve the same purpose, why not change the name...

...IMO, there is a time and place to talk about the johnnies...this is neither the time nor the place - how 'bout we wait 'til the seasons over [our season, that is]...this week is about Whitewater and Mount Union, not about the merits of going to school in the woods, IMO!!

UWW please put 8 in the box to slow down N.K. Cecil in the Shorts didn't play in last weeks game and maybe not for long in this one. MUC has other wideouts but who are they, who who who who, I really want to know ?

UWW by 10. All the road games and different looks they had from different teams will serve them very well here.

Uh, where were you last Saturday?  Cecil Shorts' stat line from the Wheaton Game:

For anyone who cares...the best micro-brew for the season is Leinenkugels Fireside Nut Brown...I love the stuff...has almost a carmel flavor to it and has a great nutty smell...it is only being produced through December so get it while you can...if I was coming down to the game (still might be) I would love to bring some and trade you for a few Micro-Brews from around the D3 nation...

I still love Leine's Sunset Wheat...

And UWW is known for their business programs...education...and schooling others in the WIAC in sports...

Okay the last one was a little bit of a stretch but over the past few years WW has become dominant in quite a few different programs...from Baseball...to Volleyball...to Football...and now Men's and Women's basketball...the future looks very bright for academics and athletics at WW

BoBo - go back and read the original post. Maybe I was a little long winded, but that's exactly what I was asking. What is it about UWW (and MUC) that make them special? I onlt got into the other stuff because sak couldn't resist a jab.

Couple of short clips about the game from a Roanoke news station, WDBJ. They have the best local coverage of the game by far

I will be happy to exchange a Lake Erie (actually Great Lakes but I wanted to make sure you knew from which lake the water originated  ;D) Christmas Ale for a taste.....

I don't know why, I'm sure it's a great beer. BUT all I can think of when I read that the water originates from is the SNL skit (I believe) where they are advertising Lake Erie water and show them pulling out basically gell.

Anyways, I have seen the Great Lakes beer up in Wisconsin, in Beloit and a couple other places. I like the Leinie's Fireside nut, but like New Glarus' Alt better. It's a carmel flavored beer. You have to pour it in a glass to get the taste right, but I love it. Plus New Glarus brewery is more 'micro' than Leinenkugel's anyway. If you're not necesarily looking for a holiday brew, but a good micro brew, I would look at New Glarus' Spotted Cow (a dark beer). I know Janesville has a brewery that makes a good honey beer and then there is always Capital Brewery from Washington Island. I would help you out, but I have absolutely no money and my parents are paying/going with me so I'm just gonna stick to the Miller Lite/PBR (once again the largest American Owned Brewery, FYI).

Stand corrected on the stats. Where was I? Forgot.  :o  Can you enlighten us on the second part ? Who are they ?

Yep the other Great Lakes brews have been around for a while.  They do the Christmas Ale every holiday season in limited production.  It's rather tasty, and its alcohol content is rather epic in nature.   :o

Stealth.......Mount has NO other receivers....please triple up on Shorts, put the other 8 guys in the box....pffft......AT LEAST a 42-10...errrrr 7 monkey stomp on Mount (we have no kicker).

Skunks, I have read neutral observers opine that the undersized MUC defense is inferior to the UMHB defense. I have also read even Mount supporters bemoan the play of their secondary. If that is all true, 42 sounds about right. However, I don't see Mount scoring less than 21 unless they are again plagued by turnovers.
