I just voted for you guys to win by 7-14 points.  Even though our coach has some MUC roots, I know a lot of Little Giants are in your corner.  Win and Stevens Point has something to brag about other than Point Beer.

I hope we will come out in the playoffs next year and have the opportunity to play against the back to back National Champions.

Wow, I hadn't thought about that.  Sure would make a statement about the strength of the WIAC, now wouldn't it. Course would be a lot better if they hadn't been a, "one and done," in the play-offs!    8)

Still on the Warhawk Bandwagon here in the Western Salem. Largely because they were the only team to beat the Bearcats this season. Hoping for a rematch next season!

Won't happen...Willamette had their chance....next year it's back to Linfield.

AP College Division or Little All-American Team has been announced.  LB Jace Rindahl, pictured above, was named to the 1st team defense while K Jeff Schebler was named to the 2nd Team.

The college division team includes all players from National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II and Division III teams, as well as members of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA). 

EDIT:  All 3 UM-Duluth D2 champs selected are also from Wisconsin, as is the one Winona State player.

The Raiders are bringing one thing to the field that they have not had in the last 3 meetings.

After seven long days

We've finally arrived
   Yes GAMEDAY is here.

The battle was fierce,

There was an audible gasp
   When kmic was first dumped.

Mount tried through the air
   They tried on the ground.

But Whitewater's defense
   Continued to pound.

Mount's D dug in
   They fought every block

But Coppage and gang
   Kept pounding the rock.

The game was so close
   The fans were so loud

The efforts of both schools
   Did D3 so proud.

As Mount took the lead,
   With just 3 minutes to go.

The Hawks moved downfield
   Needing 3 points to win

They stalled at the thirty
   When Schebler came in

The moment was here
   So much on the line.

But a smile from Jeff
   Told us all would be fine.

He kicked that ball so far and straight.
   And the Whitewater Warhawks
