No more than the name Ken Adelman means.  It ain't nothin but old news.  ;)

Wasn't it Brad Childress who said "the door is closed" referring to Bret Favre just recently?   ???

Defensively River Falls will be better than they were a year ago, with a number of experienced players returning.  Offensively River Falls will have to replace a few key positions, i.e.-QB, C, WR.  Look for the Falcons to be more balanced on O than they were a year ago, with more receivers getting touches.  I feel River Falls will win more than 3 games this year!  I believe the Sept 5 game with SJU will be very compettitive, as the last two meetings have been, especially the 2007 game when RF lead 10-0 at halftime.

But the "Johnnie Premium" price?

I voted for LaCrosse to be the most improved team on Voice's blog poll.  I also think that Stout is a team on the rise.

as did I.

I think UWO will improve from their 2-5 2008 record. sounds like they have a lot of talent returning on their offense.

I found this on another post board it shows all the DIII schools on a US Map

Just something cool to look at. It's amazing with the amount of clusters in the Midwest and throughout the Northeast, compared to the rest of the country

you can click and play around with it to zoom in..

The D3 map should be kept for future reference come playoff time when the Texas and SoCal schools are crying foul about their first round match ups.
I find easily offended people rather offensive!

Statistics are like bikinis; what they reveal is interesting, what they hide is essential.

I was talking to one of my buddies up in Green Bay.  He says there is a rumor going around up there that the Packers are considering retiring Brett Favre's jersey on Nov. 1st when the Vikes invade Lambeau Field.   :-\

It's also interesting to consider that most of those institutions were established in the early to mid 1800's.  DIII is overwhelmingly at home in the Union States.

It would be interesting to see a map of public institutions (outside of the WIAC, of course).  I bet it would be close to an inverse of the DIII chart.

There's nothing to apologize for when you tell the truth.  One symptom that points to the truth of your analysis is that virtually only UWW and MUC (with an occasional Linfield interloper) fans post here anymore.  For the rest of us it's a same old - same old waste of time.

That's because the Linfield interlopers like and respect Whitewater, so some of us tend to visit your board from time to time. We still remember THE GAME we played against you as one of the best.

Parking for tailgating before game: $40

Watching Brett Favre wearing a Vikings #4 jersey at Lambeau Field this fall: PRICELESS

I dunno why the Vikings fans are so excited... Favre never could win in the Metrodome!

We Texans have seen that map before and know full well why our matchups happen!  It doesn't mean we like it or think it is fair.   ;)

Especially when the NCAA makes a mistake on their mileage chart and does it anyway in spite of their mistake (Think Millsaps). >:(

Roocru.... I agree that MHB is out there on their own with a only few other teams......but I remember talking to UWW players during the first two unsuccessful championship runs. Almost all of them said they enjoyed the travel on charter airplanes, staying in nice hotels, and being removed from the pressure of attending classes. They enjoyed playing on the road under those conditions and obviously the result was a positive one. Traveling during the playoffs is totally different than traveling during the regular season. Everyone likes playing at home but during the playoffs playing on the road really isn't that bad at all unless you only have one pair of shoes and you are emotionally unable to accept canon fire like Wesley.......
