Coach and Raider,

Maybe having the all the success MUC has enjoyed for an extended time has allowed you the rare luxury of perspective.  I still am nervous before most UWW games and certainly all playoff games. I do find the observations regarding the line of scrimmage reassuring because, in my opinion, that has been the key to dominance for UWW this year.

I certainly hope if UWW and MUC are indeed the top two teams, the National Committee doesn't step in and make them meet in the semi's. I say evaluate the teams honestly, and if it plays out that someone is truly good enough to break up MUC and UWW as #1 and #2, so be it. But don't artificially change the Stagg Bowl by stepping in.

Quotecoco, joke all you want, but it's hard to ignore the fact

I will speak for coco, he was not joking at all.

It is obvious to both of us MUC and UWW are both stoking the boiler and when the clearing sound of those railway hounds is heard upon the land, most will step out of the way.

Hey Bobo,

I watch JB's run on your Avatar every time you post! Don't change it, it was my favorite run ever! It's classic what he did to Ely at the end of the run. But what is up with #37? I watched him the last few times and he was just running alongside Beaver. It looks like he had no interest in having happen to him what happened to Ely.  At one point it looked like he actually angled AWAY from the play.

SOS is such an overrated and irrelevant way to make selections, IMO.

I was in my car, not paying close attention, but thought I heard an ad for a concert featuring Justin Beavers. Is there a country singer/entertainer that added an "S" to play off the national celebrity of a well known UWW alum?

Finally got to see the Warhawks play this year and all I can say is wow.  The game actually got boring during the later part of the game.  Osh Kosh got dominated from the get go.  The defense is amazing.  Troney Shumpert is easily the best player in the conference and maybe one of the best defensive players ever to play at the Perk.

The offensive line looked great.  The am ount of time that Donovan has to throw the ball is ridiculous.  29-33 Donovan just stop it. And watching Coppage run all over the place, making everyone miss was a DELIGHT.

I heard they were good but now I know they are first hand.

I pretty much agree with everything you stated.

One thing for sure regarding Troney: He could teach NFL cornerbacks a thing or two about tackling! He is one of the surest tackling cornerbacks I've seen at any level!

To give added perspective to the defense, in the first three quarters of games this year, the UWW defense has given up 26 points in 27 quarters!

I'm sure kirasdad and raiderguy have a thing or two to add about Shumpert.  ;)  Something along the lines of his coverage of Shorts in the early going in game 15 last year.  ;)  Sorry to steal your thunder boys.   ;D :D :P

What coverage?  ;D
WELCOME TO THE MACHINE!

What? Business and accounting majors do not get poetic compliments? Sure they do. They went to a Division III school, after all.

OK, I was speaking for myself and not coco.

There is a Justin Bieber, a hip hop singer who is becoming very popular.

Since KS will be busy tomorrow.

November 11 is the day set aside to honor all Veterans of the Armed Forces of United States of America living and dead.  While we remember our fallen comrades who have paid the ultimate price today is also to thank our living Veterans for their service to our great nation.  Here is wishing all veterans a happy Veterans Day and many more and thank you for all you have done and all you are doing.

Amen! Thanks to all of you who have served our country and defended our freedom! You are our real heros.  Classy move by UWW AD Paul Plinske who paved the way for all Military personnel and Vets to get in free for UWW's last home game last Saturday. The applause these heros got was heartwarming.
