I don't know, UWW has been accused of running up the score all year   ;)   ::)

It is the playoffs.  Rosters are smaller.  If the opponent can't handle it then they shouldn't be at the Dance in the first place!

;D

A third of the field doesn't belong every year so when will the D3 members wise up and change the selection criteria.

I have no problem with teams winning their conference and getting the automatic bid. No matter how large/small their conference is. we can't and shouldn't take that away from them.

I agree to, but just like the laugh when a 6-4 team gets to play UWW.

I expect better from you dbg. That type of shot is uncalled for. It wasn't long ago when UWW would have  liked to have been 6 - 4.

                                  1999  3 - 7
                                  2000  5 - 5
                                  2001  5 - 5
                                  2002  5 - 5

The worm has turned, but don't be the bully on the block just because you had a few GOOD years. Look at Linfield or SJU if you want to see what a good history is.

I see that Carthage is taking on UWW Friday, and UW Stevens Point Saturday in B=Ball. Let's start the discussion again. ;)

Platteville's at Carthage's tip-off tournament this weekend - not Stevens Point

If the coaches at UWW had their choice, they would rather be playing a more "competitive" team, even in the first round. A very easy opposing team, does not prepare you for the tougher teams coming in the next rounds!

Maybeeeeeee.....but playing weaker teams almost ensures you advance to round 2....playing tougher teams don't gaurantee that. Look at Central's reward for going 10-0 during the regular season, the have MHB in round one  :o. I think Central would much rather play a team like Lakeland. No disrespect to the Muskie's!!

Speaking of repeats...with Mr. Donovan being a senior, and all, now's is the time to move on California Lutheran freshman quarterback Tony Macarena  6'1"  225 from Oaks Christian High School in Westlake  Village, California (Thousand Oaks). He'll be free after Saturday.

Wait, so this guy is named Macarena? LMAO, Someone needs to update the playlist in the Perk.

I have a feeling that this is going to get ugly. I remember a Lakeland team that went undefeated in the regular season except for a 60+ point loss to a great UWW team. I can only imagine what will happen when they bring an okay, barely winning the conference, Lakeland team to the Perk to play an arguably better UWW squad.

People scoffed at UWW when free tickets to students were used as an incentive to get them to attend playoff football games a few years ago.  Seems they were actually ahead of the times.  Low and behold, is SJU doing the same thing? I guess so.  ;)  ::)

Just wondering, why are tickets at SJU only $8.00/adults; $4.00/students when at UWW they are $10/adults; $4.00/students? How much are they at Central, Linfield, other places.   :-\
Shouldn't the ticket prices be the same everywhere? I think the NCAA needs to allow the cannon guy inside the fence to make up for this discrepancy in price!!  ;) :D ;D

I would love to see a 56-0 or 84-0 this weekend over Lakeland.
6-4 in the playoffs, WHOA!  At least it pays to win your conference.  Payment, UWW!
Win, advance, stay healthy...repeat.
that's what I would love to see. score doesn't matter

I could not agree more.....Win, advance, stay healthy.....repeat last year. :o

PLAYOFF tickets are the same everywhere ($7?), though some schools buy up tickets and undersell and/or distribute free to students.  During the regular season, schools price them at their option (or what the free market will bear).

Postseason rules are by the NCAA, and 'cannon guy' apparently violates the 'noisemakers' rule. :P

Thanks for trying to explain the ticket prices, but your explanation makes no sense.  If playoff tickets cost $7 everywhere, and schools buy up tickets and undersell them, why would the same tickets be going for $10 and $8 at UWW and SJU, respectively? They're not going to charge more than the face value.  They're trying to get students and fans TO the game, not drive them away!!

I'm aware of the rules for noisemakers..that's why I had the  ;) after it!
