Quotemost of us didn't know who Nate Kmic was

I did after he hit the hole at the 2 yard line. I actually got up off of one elbow on the couch and sat up to watch the next 98.

Oh, and just out of curiosity, what was the record of the MUC semi- pr JV team this season? That's how I gauge next year.
I know this is a question for the OAC board but they seem to be bored and over here thinking what you all are going to have to eat at the Stagg Station.

I find easily offended people rather offensive!

High of a balmy 32 degrees and sunny on saturday.  I'm guessing it might not break 30 until after the game  :o

I invite anyone coming to the game saturday to stop by the northwest corner of the perking lot to warm up...We're bringing a fire pit to the game while we tailgate.   8)

What is the wind forecast for the UWW/Witt game, and how much of a factor is it at the Perk?

Saturday's weather is predicted to be a high of 32 degrees and a low of 23 degrees.  The wind is predicted to be 10-15 mph SSW.   That will lower the actual temperature several degrees.  So it's going to be cold.  The sky will be partly cloudy.

The wind will be a factor but I don't think it will significant.  The team going towards the North end zone will have it at their back and the team going towards the South end zone will have it in their face.

Great job with the blog. Very informative analysis . I wish UWW has a hard fought, clean, injury free game this Saturday. Hopefully both of our teams can focus, and take care of business for the next couple of weeks. Good Luck and I pray we can meet in Salem again.

Thanks, Skunk. I hope for the same thing. Both MUC and UWW have been models of consistency this season. Let's hope it continues. I know the rest of the D3 world disagrees, but for UWW and MUC fans, what could be more exciting than facing each other in Purple Bowl 5?

I'm more interested in the forecast that was already given, since our broadcast crew won't actually be in the press box.

This from USA Today 5 days ago - surprised nobody mentioned it  :o :

Division III:

"Top seed Mount Union (Ohio) and challenger Wisconsin-Wakefield led eight teams into the quarterfinals with lopsided second-round wins...The 2007 champion Warriors got 197 yards and two touchdowns from running back Levell Coppage."

Complete story HERE. Page down to the DIII section.

Someone please contact the Wisconsin-bound Wittenberg U. motor coach & entourage ASAP so they can adjust their course heading and get to Wakefield - and good luck against the Warriors - I predict an easy win for the Tigers, should they ever find it!!  Tell them to refuel in Kenosha, as they are in for a lot of driving around.
;D  :D  ;)

Perhaps an honest mistake or another example of shoddy journalism. You make the call.   :P

WOW.  Why couldn't my Titans have played the Wakefield Warriors! :o >:(

We'd be happy to go to Witt. ;D

Wow is that bad.....good find. That's worse than the article I found a few weeks back calling whitewater the defending DIII champs this year.

Or i got a kick out of the Stagg highlights on ESPN and/or Fox Sports Net over the years, on the different ways the sports anchors can mis-pronouce Kmic and Micheli ::)  for example: Kay-Mich or Mich-elly

Perhaps they shouldn't have let Pat Coleman and Keith McMillan leave USA Today. :)

But would you guys really have been proud to work for McPaper?

Still, even for them, that's a whopper.  I demand a second-round rematch: IWU vs. the Wakefield Warriors! ;D

Playing the 1-9 Warriors from Arlington, VA would be like playing North Park - only worse...here's a short highlight video of their lone win this year to help you scout!  ;D :D
