Hey Bobo  I believe that per the NCAA  if your boys get an indoor facility we get it as well

Come on... seriously!  Don't you guys have anything better to do than study stats?  First, you think Linfield has a weak-sister defense because we've given up 100-something second half points.  Now you say that the Boehme is a inefficient passer because he doesn't compare to the other remaining qbs.

Maybe, just maybe, we have lower stats because we've played a TOUGH schedule, on the road for much of it.  How many ranked teams has UWW played this season?  And could it possibly be that the Linfield coaches are thinking of the future by getting their young-pups some playing time in the second half?

It's going to be a great game Saturday, I wish I could be there.  But some of you WW fans need to get out from behind the computer and go outside.  No wait, it's too cold......  Go ice fishing, snowmobiling, something.  Did y'all come up with these obscure stats when you were facing Puget Sound, River Falls or Oshkosh?  Maybe you know that you are facing a tough opponent this week and you need to look for any possible advantage over the Wildcats.  Time will tell.......

OK OK OK (your best Joe Pesci here)

How about some serious tips for lasting 4-5 hours in that weather.

How to dress?

What accoutrement? (your best Pepe La Peu)

Basic do's and dont's?

This might help stay warm and it looks good too:

"For all whitewater fans you will want to meet Dens OC, Since he is from the same area of the country as your last title winning QB.  I think he and Dens surf together often.  Dens OC will be easy to spot, he will be the dude with the surfboard, flip flops and surfer shorts.  What a stud !!!

Tip #1 ....  Do not dress like this unless you want to visit the hospital emergency room after the game.

Yeah, but you're not good friends with Barry Alverez - so I doubt your'll get anywhere near his building. I believe they'll get to use the Holiday Inn Express ballroom to run through a few plays...or maybe the soccer field is available!!  ;)

Dens I am sure you can take your board to the game and surf the wave at the gymormus stadium that we are going to.

I wonder if this might be another year in which Camp Randall is used to host a UW-Somebody play off game. They can clear that faster than The Perk.

How about some team analysis?  I like to look at the defenses when the playoffs are rolling:

TDs given up - Lin 38, UWW 15
FG attempts given up - Lin 5, UWW 3
Punts forced - Lin 57, UWW 73
4th down stops - Lin 13, UWW 23
Ints - Lin 30, UWW 18
Fumble recoveries - Lin 17, UWW 8

(Remember, Linfield 12 games, UWW 13 games)

So out of 160 defensive series (approx-some end of halfs/games could be also in the mix) Linfield stopped 47 with turnovers, 13 on downs and forced 57 punts.

UWW (140 series) stopped 26 with turnovers, 23 on downs and forced 73 punts.

I would suggest then that if UWW takes care of the ball, they will be in pretty good shape.  Linfield will need to win the turnover margin by a couple to beat the Warhawks.

I also look at Rushing defense.  You have to back out the sacks and yardage lost on sacks to get what I consider the most value out of this.  I tally Linfield has given up just over 4 yards per rush (381 for 1,532), UWW just under 3 (396 for 1,167).

Look for Levell and Antwan to carry a load on Saturday.  Maybe a load and a half.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

WISCONSIN doesn't have to make their indoor facility available to Linfield.  However we do have a large fieldhouse which would be made available.  It's big enough to do everything except perhaps kick off and punt.

Really nice job on the stats....You're right...I think Linfield will have to win the turnover battle to win the game.
Don't forget your booties cause it's cold out there!
