Leaving for Salem and the Stagg Bowl Festivities tomorrow!!  Bringing brownies for both teams as per usual.  Looking forward to seeing you guys at the Gagliardi banquet and at the luncheon and naturally from the 50 yard line on Saturday!!!  I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!  The rest of Stone Station is pulling in on Friday and we are going to have a great tail-gate before, during half-time and after the game!!  My favorite time of year!!!

What say ye NWC posters. Any of the offical officals do the Willamette/ UWW game last year ? I noticed no one was named Tim Donaghy so thats a good thing for both sides.  ::)

I don't think the NCAA assigns officials from the conference of either team during the playoffs.  At any rate none of these officials worked the WARHAWK/Willamette game last year.

A quick check of the officials in the NWC games indicates that this is not a crew that works together during the regular season but rather members of multiple crews selected for this specific game.  So to say an "all-star" crew.  I don't have a big problem with that and I  understand the logic of that process.  But I'd prefer that they select a crew that has worked together during the regular season and has some familiarity with one another.

Agreed. Although, no matter what there's going to be at least a few people bitchin' about the refs after the game!

That's inevitable, no doubt about it.  I hope the bitchers wearing the other purple.  ;)

Good thing we have replay in this one then. My experience is that crews in big games that don't work the regular season together and on short rest/long trip make mistakes. Yes here comes the 07 QB was pushed into the end zone by Beaver chants but still replay was used very effectively for the last 2 years. If the NCAA truely wanted an all star crew why not the best from multiple locations ? Not sure when they get in but I sure hope it's not the morning after  ;)

No Kidding! I can't believe how fashion conscious you guys are over there! I guess when you win as many championships as Mount does, the fans' primary concern is reduced to looking good while winning them!  :)

I think I saw a T-shirt like that once  ;)

I saw a T-shirt like that once (first part) back in 1990-1991 with John Carroll colors.

Wuck Fightwater just doesn't have the same effect.  Sounds like an American Indian name.
