As the game gets closer, I thought it would be fun to see if UWW and MUC fans know as much about each other as they seem to. I posted a fun quiz to help pass the time to kickoff!

Here's some local coverage of the Stagg:  http://www.wdbj7.com/Global/story.asp?S=11695978.

Geesh, I am only about 35 miles to the southwest from Salem (staying with my mother) and I am going to have to get a hotel room in Salem this afternoon so that I can make sure I make it to the game. 14 to 17" predicted in Blacksburg and over a foot in Salem. It will be snowing during the game.

try the Quality Inn in Salem, right off I-81 at the Salem Center exit 141.  Very convenient!

Thanks. I got a room at the La Quinta. Only 3 and a half miles from the stadium.

Good luck tomorrow Warhawks. All us Cat fans will be pulling for you.  Hope both teams are healthy and you take home the trophy!

Checking in...safely in La Quinta in Salem. Almost waited too long to get here. Roads are getting treacherous!

Answers added to Stagg Bowl Quiz are posted. If you haven't taken it yet, it's a light hearted attempt to pass some time to KICKOFF! The answers are posted below the quiz, so you can still test your knowledge of MUC and UWW!

I'm just up the hill from you.  Quality Inn is up the hill from there.  If you want a brownie or 3, come on up the hill, we got plenty!!

I can't wait until kickoff. Where are all of the Whitewater people meeting up at before the game?

GO WARHAWKS!!!

p.s. I realize that writing in purple this week to signify my affiliation is pointless but nonetheless, I'm doing it anyways!

I saw the YouTube posted above (or below, depending on your forum configuration), but here's the whole story regarding the weather from our "Sideline Guy" blog:

Frank, they won't even deliver food up here on the hill.  I may starve to death.  Good thing I ate well at the luncheon today.  But seriously I tried to listen to you and Carey and I couldn't hear anything.  But the snow is already way deeper than you are showing.  One of MUC's players dad (from Miami) went out for a ride like 3 hours ago and hasn't returned.  I'm very uneasy about that.  If he doesn't come back soon, I'm calling Coach Kehres.
