Warhawk 96

As much as i want to root for the Colts, I just can't while they have their......ummmmm......affliction. ;) Go Saints!!
Oh yeah, and congrats to Coach Zebrowski. I wish you the best. Not to start a rift or anything but why not Coach Dinkel for Offensive Coordinator? It seems like that's a stone throw away from the "run game coordinator" position that he held. Whoever gets that job is one lucky guy to inherit all of the weapons that they will recieve.

2009 Stagg Bowl is now available on DVD if anyone is interested in ordering a copy.

I know I'm looking forward to watching it again  ;D

Saw it live, but haven't been able to watch my DVR'd version yet.  :(

I came back to the hotel room and watched it on ESPN360 after the game

I've sat down a few times and tried to watch it, but keep getting pissed at MUC's defense in the first half.  Donovan kept converting on 3rd down!!!    >:(

Hey, you're a better man than me k-dad. When I DVR'd the 2005, 2006 and 2008 Stagg Bowl, i just deleted them before watching them. sour grapes anyone!?

After the first Stagg in 05, I made a DVD copy off my DVR editing out the commercials.  Then I made several copies for my family because despite the loss, for all I knew at the time, it would be my kid's only appearance on ESPN.   ;)  It was a brutal exercise and with every copy, the pain and frustration never lessened!   ;) :D ;D

You should have burned copies on your Computer, or taken it somewhere where they had a duplicator, so you wouldn't have to watch it each time.  :)

I didn't have a good software program to do the job at the time.  Corrrected that problem by 07.   ;)

Nelson Edmonds would be a good pick for an OC. He is already on campus, and not a lot of movement except leaving his academic advisor position. Coach Dinkel would also be a good pick. However he would have to leave his position as a physcial education teacher at Jefferson high school to go to UWW,and become an instructor and offensive coordinator. I always remember the old coach Z saying his contract said he was 755 isntructor and 25% football coach and that was not true. He used different words but it meant the same thing.
My guess is they will try and bring someone on with quarterback coaching experience. As thats what coach Zebrowski coached while helping the hawks to two national titles.

Here's a recruit that "committed" to whitewater the other day.

Cary-Grove Chad McCarron. looks like he plays both WR and DB

KitchenSink

Here's another recruit I saw a few days ago on wissports.net:

-Madison Abundant Life offensive lineman/defensive lineman Jimmy Treslley (6-2, 280) has verbally committed to Division III UW-Whitewater, according to Abundant Life interim head coach Mark Martinez.

A tackling machine on the defensive front, Treslley totaled 105 tackles, 15 tackles for loss and three sacks as a senior in route to WFCA all-region, Wisconsin State Journal second-team all-area and first-team all-conference honors.

He also received first-team all-conference laurels as an offensive lineman.

Can never have too much beef up front!
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

Just got back from the study tour with my students to your news.  AJ and you all are in my heart and prayers!!  I have sent messages to some of my friends on other boards to tell them about the CURE33 effort because I think they would want to know and help.  You KNOW how I feel about AJ.  He's been in my heart ever since I met him!!  He has my full support.  Whatever I can do, please do not hesitate!

Chad is from A.J.'s old high school.  Talented and has very nice size although as a WR in a triple option offense, he had limited opportunities so his receiving numbers won't blow you away. Glad to see another Trojan in the Warhawk fold!   ;)

Thanks so much for your concern, olinemom.  We are hanging in.  His Dr's have assured us that he will be fine.  He is amazingly strong and we are confident that he will dominate this latest opponent!  Just keep the prayers coming.  You can keep up with what is happening on his blog at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/ajraebel

So it was Dinkel who planned for Levell to go into the pile, then step back, then run untouched for the pile of snow in the end zone?

OK....is Matt  JEFF Donovan in school, or not?

Sakman 1111

Way to go Dink!!! A constant over the last 5 years has been the offensive line and for us close to the offensive line there are two main reasons:(1) talented players and (2) Steve Dinkel....With two offensive coordinators Dink has provided stability and produced one of the best Olines in Division 3 each year.....No one deserves this promotion more......Pound the Rock!......

I received my Championship game DVD from NCAA on Demand today.  Cool!

So I popped it in to watch, even though I didn't have time for the entire game.  And there's the kickoff ... between Montana and Villanova.  WTF??

Double checked to be sure the case and disc said UWW / MUC (and it did).  Hmmmmmmmmmm ....

Bottom line is they will be sending me another disc.  Anybody else have this problem?   ???

Dinks is very deserving of this promotion.  His loyalty and hardwork with UWW shows with his success as a Oline coach.  I couldnt be happier for you Dinks and UWW is lucky to have you.
He is by far the best coach I have ever played for.  Congrats Dinks.
