"Stay Hungry. Stay Foolish"

Eagle Cynic

a little

I'm coping better than I thought I would though.

It sucks knowing what needed to be done and not being able to anything about it.

Does that really come off when I'm writing these things

Eagle Cynic

We could've covered a little better to give some more time to the d-line to work too.  Like I said, we all sucked a little that day

Atta put the blame on your teammates Eagle! That is what a good teammate always does. ;)

Back to the point, I'm hoping WW got our tape from last year and talked with our coaches a little on what to expect.  Firsthand experience gives a whole different look at a team.  Hopefully they can use what we learned to their advantage and put a hurting on the cats

Eagle Cynic

I already said I gave up two TD's, what more do you want?  That alone was enough to beat us.

warhawkexpress28

man the kid gave up two touches to a good team cut him a break, but you were talkin alot of smack earlier so.... ;D

Eagle has 54 posts and I think 30 of them have been in the last two hours.  That's pretty impressive.

Are you still playing Eagle?  If you are how does your coach feel about you being in here?

Eagle Cynic

It's a team game, teams win, teams lose.
It was a great experience playing out there with a team of their calibur.

I personally never believed that a perfect throw can beat the best coverage out there, but Elliot and Allen and whoever else the wideouts were did it pretty consistently when we were there.  Not that we were the best, but on certain plays we couldn't have been in any better position and still got beat.

Linfield played at a level higher than us.  Almost like going from HS to COllege.

Eagle Cynic

I got nothing better to do right now, all the other posts come while I'm at work and can barely keep up with you guys.  I do get a kick out of everything being said on here.

If you only knew how I really feel...

think about the cynic part and put it towards everything going on at LAX

Eagle Cynic

It's one of those things where it's alot worse in my head than it really is.

I've still got friends on the team and I want them to do the best they can but at the same time as an ex-player I know the politics involved.

Politics in Football suck, but they're never going away

warhawkexpress28

its like that everywhere and your amazed at how nice the coachs and other people around the team are when your not playin anymore.  but you have to go for the old teammates..  GO HAWKS
