Yeah, he said 3 went out and the 3 that came in were so big it looked like 4!

Stout 63-0 over an undermanned Eureka squad.  Something else seeing the difference between the two teams' athelets.  I'll take a nice victory and a goose egg.

My thought process on the Mizzou team was not good obviously in hindsight.  It was a combo of knowing how they played a few years back against Stout and a close game last year with Point while I am thinking Point is down from last year.  I guess I know to go with UWL next week.  Oh well.

RF hung in until midway thru 3rd q. when Trine took 28-14 lead on way to 35-14 final score. Edwards had 34/169 yds rushing, his third 100 plus game. Letourneau got first qb start, went 13/24 w/ td, no ints. Ainsworth, Marich led D w/10, 8 tackles respectively.

Oshkosh at RF next wk for only league contest scheduled.

Platteville's getting blitzed in the 2nd half, now trail Wheaton 37-13.

After reviewing the box score, I wonder when the last time (in NCAA history) that three RBs from the same team rushed for over 100 yards in one game?

Stanley: 159 yards
Anderson: 114
Coppage: 108

(Pirtle was only a few carries away from the century mark with 68 yards)

There are probably some triple-option teams that have achieved this but I do think it's relatively rare. I'll see if I can find out.

Saw that this was brought up last week and noticed today in the box score that Ripon had 3 backs (one a QB) that rushed for over 100 yards (116, 108, 102) and another back with 85.  476 yards total.

WIAC 3-2 with no real surprises.

UW-P
I would have liked to have seen UW-P hold up better against Wheaton. Things caved in during a second half in which the Pioneers were outscored 35-7.  They outgained Wheaton, which is somewhat of an oddity in a 31 point loss.

UW-RF
RF was also dominated in the second half, being outscored 21-0.

Congrats to UWW, UW-Stout, and UW-SP who appropriately dished out lessons to non-conference foes and in the case of UWW and UWSP, non D3 foes.

And UW-W accomplished it for a second straight week today!

Wheaton had at least one long INT for TD and another special team TD keeps the total yardage down while at the same time, the score went up.

"Three horsemen" (well, we need to have some name for them. Three amigos has already been used) over 100 yards each again.

We can start a new search? When was the last time one team had 3 rush for over 100 yards two weeks in a row? Don't start anything, retagent!!  ;)
