Oh, don't worry. He will.

I believe he already did.  When I was having problems navigating the forum when I first came on and asked very similar questions, I'm almost positive he answered.  Just scroll page thru the pages and you can find the answer.   :D

Sorry to ask, but how do I create a thread within the WIAC forum only?
1. OH MY.......you must be.....gasp!....A MAN!!!   :D

2.  Now if there had been a Stout thread....just maybe.....
1) Not a real one!
2) Does Stout still have a football team?  I thought they dropped around the same time as Supe-town. Just tryin' to get the Stouters riled up.
3) Although I'm a cheesehead and fan of pretty much every team in WI, I have to go on record that I really don't like the color purple.  Sorry UWW, reminds me too much of the MN Vikings.

kubiack78, Jim Schulenberg is currently located in UWW's neck of the woods--Fort Atkinson. Schully was actually more like 5'10 - 300--he just seemed bigger than he actually was. As I recall, he ran the "Nebraska fumblerooskie" for a long gainer, near TD vs. UWW.  I remember him for the titanic battles he used to have with DT Jon Wiltzius from UWL.

Sorry -- doing day job stuff and haven't been on the board much today.

I would prefer to keep all the WIAC discussion in the same board. The NEW icon on the West Region football page next to each topic of discussion will lead you to the posts you haven't read yet, which helps readers manage the large boards.

I agree it's long but I don't think having a hundred West Region topics of conversation wouldn't be particularly useful either.

 I just love newbie's!   ;) :-*

Seriously, Welcome Gentlemen.  It is always great having new blood on the boards even if you think it's organizational layout is lacking.   :)

We believe in quality over quantity, although I admit I'm a bit lacking in that department.

Thanks for the welcome.

I found this humorous on the ASC site. Looks like special shirts were made prior to the UWW/UMHB game a few years back...

UMHB, please listen to me, "just say no to any t-shirt for this game [against Hardin Simmons]."  I thought it was a bad idea then, and I haven't changed my mind.  At the end of the 2004 game, many t-shirts went into the trash can outside the stadium.  Right where they needed to be. Show up, scream loud, and wear normal fan attire.

Yeah, as soon as I showed up for the pep rally the night before the UWW game and I saw shirts, I nearly turned around and left. I didn't have a good feeling.

out of curiosity...what did these t-shirts say?

You just get the opposite problem on other boards.  You get three or four different threads all having the same discussion, usually involving the same people, so nothing is in one location.  Pick your poison. I like this way better.

And, you are free to create new threads. Anyone can do it.  The only rule in the Terms and Conditions is you can't have a thread to talk just about one team.

Hmmm....I can't seem to create a new thread in this forum.  I wonder if something is wrong with my setup or if I'm just an idiot when it comes to computers.....

Go to the West Region page and there should be a button for "New Topic". If you don't see it, it might be that it's not visible until you reach X number of posts.

I've used Wissports for many years too. On Wissports, everytime Brett Favre blows his nose, there's instantly three threads in favor of it and five threads opposed to it. The setup is fine, but I don't see it as being remarkably superior to this one or any other.
Yep...but on the other hand...those of us who don't care about Brett Favre are forewarned and don't bother reading those.  Just as those of us who don't know about O'Grady may have skipped that conversation.
I guess its a moot point as this board is not going to change anyway.  And it's the only WIAC forum I can find right now, and the posters are knowledgeable, so I will continue to check in occasionally.

I like reading everything.  As a newby, it gives me the opportunity to learn something and have a greater understanding of the conversations on the Board.  And.....I am amazed at the depth of football knowledge I am reading.

danimal--though he would not tell you, Kestrel is responsible for the vintage films available at UWRF. He managed that project, as well as having been the one guy most responsible for notifying coaches of recruiting prospects at UWRF since about  1970. He is an unsung hero in UWRF football since the Farley days.

You have a day job Pat?  With all that you do with this site and to promote DIII football, it is hard to believe that you have much time to do anything else.  Keep up the nice work.

As great as it is, you didn't honestly think this site payed the bills, did you?  Pat and Keith work their a$$'$ off!  I don't know when they sleep, quite frankly.   ;)

Sad but true. It's a lot of work but there's not a ton of money left over for salaries and such once we take care of the basics. Certainly not enough to pay the mortgage and support a wife and three kids, even with moving from the East Coast to the Midwest.
