Aren't you guys over-reacting a little? Why would the team with the longest winning streak at any level, who plays in the best overall D3 conference in the country, and who is the defending National Champion be a number one seed?

WOW,WOW,WOW!!!!!  The team that has won 2 or the last 3 National championships, went 10-0 in the toughest conference in the country this season does not warrant a bracket named after them just because no one in D-3 will play them, effecting the math ?    They will have to go on the road to Illinios and Delaware before Salem?   OMG!  I almost feel sorry for the Cards and Wolverines, should everyone get that far.

This is just ridiculous!!  I guess the powers that be are tired of an all purple Stagg Bowl as well!

Ok, who from UWW ticked off the selection committee because this is nuts. UWW being a #2 seed makes no sense at all. I would like someone to explain how they arrived at this decision.

The defending national champion, rolls through a perfect season in what is considered by most the toughest conference and the committee still sees them as a #2 seed and only 5th best (maybe) overall....Wow ! I'm sure UWW will still make it Salem but it is obvious the committee is doing all it can to prevent it.

Unfreaking real.   I've had a feeling for a couple of weeks that the national committee would find a way to hose us and sure enough.  I've got a hunch this is going to do nothing more than put a chip on our shoulder.

Pat, will we get any kind of explanation from the committee?

If I can paraphrase  what I've seen on here often. Last year is last year.

Seriously, I don't think you have to go to anything other than the record this year to justify a #1 seed for UWW. I am not all that convinced that UWW won't have home field through the quarters. It's entirely possible, and I am predicting, that NCC will get knocked off prior to that game. Although I can't share your emotion, I do share the incredulity.

I guess the blue print on screwing a team from getting a number seed was revealed today:

- refuse to schedule them
- they are then forced to schedule non-region teams (or worse..NAIA)
- Their SOS and regional rank with take a big hit
- End result....not awarded a number 1 seed

Had to believe the road to Salem goes through Naperville....wow
