The 2010 Warhawks have an attribute that hasn't been discussed much:

A keen observation.  You pick up on things that most people simply don't.  If I didn't know better I'd say you were raised in a football family. ;)

Really? He told me he came from a family of ballet dancers and hairdressers.

Good article, BP.

Enjoy the game, you lucky people who get to go. Olinemom, you are a sweetheart to make all those brownies.

+k for making me laugh out loud!  ;)

Well, in a few hours we'll be hitting the road for Salem, God willing we'll arrive in time for dinner.

I want to say thank you to all the posters that have contributed to my addiction to this site.  It's one that I will miss sorely as this great season comes to an end.

I have all kinds of positive thoughts for this game. This team has shown time and again how mentally and physically tough it is.  UWW has been tested in the playoffs and I believe the variety and strength of teams played will prove to be an/the advantage come Saturday.

Go Hawks, and safe travels to all that are heading to Salem.

all warhawk fans, it sucks that you are playing in the stagg instead of us :D.  have a safe journey and stop and say hi during the tailgate time.  i will be there bright and early with the stone station folks.  if you enjoy porter brew, i will have plenty with me.  see you on saturday.

Safe travels to you and yours, 17!  I agree with your, "positive thoughts,"  but I have learned that the team that looks to be the favorite isn't necessarily.  05 we were clearly the best on paper having beaten up on everyone winning almost every game by a lot of points and Mount had a young team and an extremely rare conference loss to ON.  In 07, we had a loss and several nail-biters and they brought, "the best team Larry has ever had."  It will come down to the LINE OF SCRIMMAGE and the intangibles like LK's notoriously great halftime adjustments.  But I agree, we have traveled the hardest path, (thank you again, NCAA,) :P been road tested and overcame more obstacles and that will be the intangibles the Warhawks bring to the field!  Win the line and everything else will follow. It was the #1 reason that we were able to get the first one in 07, IMHO.  Time to get a hat trick, Boys!
Wrong sport, I know, but with the Black Hawks being World Champions, I couldn't resist!

BTW, 17,  the true addicts hang on here year around.  ;)

We all have our problems. I have ESPNU on my DirecTV, but I will be away assisting my mother who is experiencing health problems. She does not have that channel. Maybe I should rent out my place to some nice UWW folks so they can watch in comfort. I'm sure I wouldn't regret it. ::)

Simply the best to our beloved Warhawks.....we will be watching the game in Oak Park/River Forest the home #33 and #52 with more to come next year..... So sorry to hear about your mother, retagent!  Hope she feels better soon.  Helping a mother is about the only thing that should come before football, BTW. ;)  You are a good son!

A big congrats to Eric Watt, Trine's outstanding QB and our new Gagliardi Trophy winner!  He sure could fling the football!

The AP Little All-American team was annouced today.

Made up of student/athletes from DII, DIII and NAIA.

Congrats to Levell Coppage, Matt Weber and Jared Jenkins for making 2nd team. As well as Patrick Mengelkoch (TE) from Stout making the third team.

From what I keep hearing from Mount's TE...I'm surprised he's not on here.

While I would have appreciated seeing Mount's TE make the list, there's only room for three TE's on the teams and it can be hard to crack your way in.  Heck, even Cecil Shorts only made it as an "All Purpose" player.

moskowe

We are new to this and would like some feedback if my son fits the conference standards he has a you tube video jeremy moskow just google it, thanks in advance, if anyone thinks he fits the league would love to know what coaches to contact.
