A survey conducted among Bear fans outside Soldier Field prior to last weeks game vs the Seahawks, brought in the astonishing results indicated in the pie chart below:

Here's some more for you to copy, BW  :)

Q: What is the difference between a Packer fan and a baby?
A: The baby will stop whining after awhile.

Q: What does a hunter without a gun in the middle of a forest and Green Bay have in common?
A: Neither of them can stop the Bears

Q: What do cheeseheads and hemorrhoids have in common?
A: They're both a pain in the butt and never seem to go away completely.

I don't have a dog in the fight next Sunday. but I'm probably leaning towards the Packers.  I made this choice based on the rude behavior of Chicago fans during the singing of the national anthem before the Bears/Seahawks game.  I not the most gung-ho flag waving guy in the world, but I do expect respect as the colors are presented and the national anthem is sung.

you have no idea what you're talking about my friend. When Jimmy C sings the anthem, Chicago goes crazy out of respect. Numerous verterans have gone out of their way to praise the way Chicago Blackhawk fans celebrate our nation's song....Go to a Blackhawks game at the United Center, and if you don't get a sense of pride for your country and don't get the goose bumps during the national anthem, i'll refund you your ticket.

Go Blackhawks and Bears!!!!

I thought the National Anthem sung in Chicago was among the best I've ever seen. As a veteran, it brought tears to my eyes with that kind of fervor, and patriotism. That, my friends, is how its done.

I was unaware why they were all cheering like that during the singing, I thought they were all worked up about something in the stadium that the cameras were not showing.

That guy needs to sing at every game. The Packers need to get someone like that!

It was already announced that he won't be singing in Sunday's game...Jim will be back at his regular venue singing before the Blackhawks game in the United Center that sunday.

I agree with you WGaurd....I can't see how anyone would think that's offensive.

Obviously 02 Warhawk, warhawkguard, and I come at this national anthem thing with differences in our age, location, military service, and personal sense of flag etiquette.  My interpretation of proper decorum calls for solemn reverence at the presentation of the colors and the singing of the anthem.  I can't question the patriotism of someone who thinks otherwise, particularly a veteran like warhawkguard.  This is just one of those things about which we will have to agree to disagree.

Thanks so much, WarhawkDad.  A high point for sure.

Fox TV is confirming that Jim Cornelius will sing the National Anthem again on Sunday after all with Lee DeWyze performing at half time.  Looks like an encore performance of loud Bears fans.  Now if they will just shut up when the Bears are on offense trying to hear Cutler and make adjustments before the snap!  :P

Freedom is also the ability to honor the national anthem as one sees fit. If the people of Chicago have a tradition which they agree honors it in their own way, I can't imagine how any could tell them they're wrong.

Well, we'll have to agree to disagree... because, per the Tribune's website Cornelison will sing again this Sunday.

Chicago must be the only place where they sing the National Anthem before the game and at half-time!!  ;)  If tradional holds, it will be the only thing the bear fans will have a need to cheer about the entire day!!

The bears organization need to realize they don't stand a chance and begin the day with taps, instead.  ;)

By all means, BoBo, let's hope tradition holds..................Lovie Smith's record is 6-3 against the Packers as the Bears head coach.   ;) :D ;D

...which would make his Bears coaching tenure a complete and utter failure, since his #1 goal when he took the job was to beat the Packers!! Another loss on Sunday will probably get him run out of Chicago and force him to some place like Guatemala to live among the Maya ruins and banana trees!!
