If tradional holds, it will be the only thing the bear fans will have a need to cheer about the entire day!!
By all means, BoBo, let's hope tradition holds..................Lovie Smith's record is 6-3 against the Packers as the Bears head coach.   ;) :D ;D

...which would make his Bears coaching tenure a complete and utter failure, since his #1 goal when he took the job was to beat the Packers!! Another loss on Sunday will probably get him run out of Chicago and force him to some place like Guatemala to live among the Maya ruins and banana trees!!

Rather bold words from a supporter of a team currently 3-6 against the rival coach!

(Actually, despite being born and raised in Illinois, I'm slightly leaning to the Packers this weekend; but your taunting when down 3-6 seemed a bit silly :D  I'm a Michigan fan, and 'hate' Tressel, but no longer 'taunt' him! :P)

What has he done for them lately?  He's 0-1 this year...that's all that matters!!  ;)

Oh, and please change your leaning to the Bears...everyone knows your problem with picking a winner!!  ;)  :D  You pick the Bears and the Packers are a lock to win.

I tried that with changing my pick from Williams to Amherst in the National Bball Pickems (with a star Williams player out).  Despite my jinx, Amherst (and I) won. ::)

A teacher tells her class she's a Bears fan. The class agrees with her except one little girl. When asked who she likes the girl said the Packers, the teacher asked why and the girl said "because my mommy and daddy are fans". The teacher replies "that's no reason to like them, what if your dad was an idiot and your mom was a moron then what would you be?" The little girl replied back, "A Bears fan

Huh???  Good thing for the winky smiley or I would be worried about your memory, BoBo.  The Bears and Packers split their regular season match ups, Bears winning the first meeting on 9/27 which makes both coaches records against each other 1-1 this season.

I know, Lovie is a lousy coach, the team is just lucky and had an easy road to become only one of 4 teams left standing. ::)  The Pack gave the first game away with their unprecedented number of penalties and the fact that the Bears held #12 and the gang to only 10 points in the last game was, again, just lucky.  Had nothing to do with a great defense. Did I cover it all?  LOL
The Pack has more talent, Bears just lucky to be there.  Sounds like the 07 Stagg Bowl to me!  Let's just hope the game lives up to the hype.   ;D

Steelers win this game...

I hate to admit it but I kinda agree because of how good they looked the last few weeks.    Wish we could have put an end to their season in the last game.  However, Atlanta played terrible and in two opportunities, the Pack has yet to do that to us.  We match up too well against each other.  Like I said, I just hope it lives up to the hype and no one blows out the other.  It is going to be a blast.  Is it Sunday yet?

BTW, what kind of parents name their son Lovie? Tell me Bears fans it's only a nickname.

Also, speaking of GOD, what do the Chicago Bears and Billy Graham have in common?

They both can make 70,000 people stand up and yell 'Jesus Christ'.

Come on 413, the Falcons just didn't decide not to play well last Saturday night...there was a green and gold reason for it!!

I do share your enthusiasm, though we definately have a difference of opinion on the outcome. But as for me, I would say, is it Monday morning at 5 yet?!!  ;)

You nailed me, BoBo.  I hypocritically committed my biggest pet peeve.  Claiming a team, "just played badly," not giving credit to a defense for making it happen!  Shame on me!  A defensive mom knows better!  But facing our defense in our house will be another story, I believe.  Held the high flying Packers offense to 27 points in two games this season.  You won't run on us so it will all come down to Aaron and the WR corp, (and that does scare me,) just don't think you can be that one dimensional against us for an entire 60 minutes.
