Good luck on Saturday, Whitewater. I'm hoping to see you and Mt. Union in the Stagg.

I'm glad we played you guys out here, and not back there in the snow!

Two words:  THE STREAK

Warhawks, best of luck tomorrow in the national semifinals. I trust there will be plenty of tailgating before the game. :)

Hey, Johnny Red,
It isn't too late to round up that "Johnny Nation" of yours and bring them back to the Perk this weekend for a huge tailgate party.  You'd all be welcome!! Red show up well in the snow and I know you guys can make some noise!!! :D :D Besides, found out last weekend that red and purple actually go together!!!!   Thanks for all the support from the SJU and Linfield fans.  Go West and  GO Warhawks!!!!!

On the plane ride home from Oregon the team was talking about one thing and one thing only....beating Wesley.  All indications are that they've been  focused on that task.  Some coaches have commented that this hasn't been a problem at all.  This team is approaching this game as it has every game this season, like it's the only one that matters.  The practices have gone well, people are healthy and they're chomping at the bit to hit someone.

This is a special team.  They know what's on the line and they aren't going to let it slip away because they overlooked or took some other team for granted.  That just isn't the collective nature of this team.  Wesley is obviously a very good team and we know that.  If they win they'll deserve all the credit because it won't be because we didn't take them seriously.

Hey Badger,

are you on the team or have a son that plays on the team??

Just asking because you seem to nave a lot of inside info

Okay then, it's prediction time and time for me to get cocky too.  Since I was in second place prior to last week's games (out of 1136 entrants in the Pick'em brackets), I am assuming that with my UWW pick over Linfield while mastering the East and North brackets, I should be in sole possession of first place.  I think I came pretty close with my 42 - 35 prediction last week as well.  With all of that said, and in addition to the fact that I had 5 semesters of 4.0 within the mathematical-statistics major while attending UWW, I would have to say that my opinion is more-less factual information.

We defended the "monkey stomps" and therefore have yet to know what those are really about.
We heard about some "salty D" and hung 44.
Although Wesley is the leading team in the country in the quality of wins index, which is a respectable state, and also has a few Division I transfers, I predict this:

UWW 35 - Wesley 24

Now go call your bookie's and lay some sweet action down on this game.  That should help you all pay for Christmas, and maybe some new FG posts.

No to both questions Kubiack but I am acquainted with people involved in the program as well as a member of the booster group.

Great idea of the week:

Stream a live television feed of the game just like they did for the UWEC vs. UWW game earlier this season.  That would get some ratings throughout the country, from Oregon to Delaware.  Anyone know why this isn't happening, they are showing the game on Charter Cable channel 19/20, so why not stream that bitch for the rest of us!

One of the things my company does is live event streaming.  Based upon 10,000 users it would cost about $1700.00/hr for the streaming alone...so about $5,100 to do the game.  Not terrible.

So, how good is UW-L's offensive lineman Kent Anderson?

Good enough that he made All-Region Second team as a RG and All-Region Third Team as a LG.   :D

We don't distinguish between left and right side of the line.

We have also re-issued the release with the correct third-team guards.

I know Pat, it was worth a good chuckle this morning and I had to look twice to see if there were two different Kent Anderson's.

To all former players and fans who will tear dwon the goal posts after the game. Have fun and be safe. I am sure he will let you keep them and take them home if you ask. As long as good old # 20 doesn't show up.
Go Warhawks beat Wesley

Just Bill

I don't what kind of goalposts Perkins Stadium has, but if they are anything like Camp Randall's don't bother.  Those suckers do NOT come down.  I've seen over 50 students hanging on them and the posts come away without a scratch.

Seriously, though it's kind of a lame, outdated tradition, and as we have seen it can be really dangerous.
