Anyone else receive their 2010 Stagg Bowl DVD yesterday?? I'm happy to say it was the correct game this year  :P

Yesterday for you was 2 days ago for me...and NO, I didn't get mine yet...so now I'm officially P.O. Hopefully is comes within the next week...I've been waiting a long time to finally watch that baby!!  ;)  I keep watching that lousy catchmeifyoucan video on youtube and I want to see something with a bit more quality!!

Yea, I know what you mean, I actually fast forward it to that part as soon as I got it.  ;D

I'm trying to think which Stagg Bowl run I liked better...Coppage's TD run or Beaver's dash in 2007? Beaver did steam roll a DB, but Coppage's was a game clinching TD run.

I'm trying to think which Stagg Bowl run I liked better...

Chuck Moore's 95 yard TD run in 2001

                      or

Nate Kmic's 95 TD run in 1995?

Kmic had a better run in 2005  ;)

Coppage's run in 2010 was pretty Bad A55!  Dagger in the heart of Raider fans.

Both were clutch. But, until I can get a better look at the Coppage 2010 run, I would vote for Beaver 2007 because of the way he destroys Mr. Ely #6 at the end of the run. Here it is again, for those of you who may have missed it:

BoBo,

As many times that I have seen that run here, I will admit Beaver's run was impressive as was he as a player and young man! I know there is tape on Chuck Moore and Nate Kmic somewhere. +k :)

It really illustrates how versatile a runner he was.  First he shows a burst of speed as he slices through the line and then blows between and past the two defensive backs.  Then he shows power as he knocks 6 backwards.  I could watch that run a million times.  In fact I may have already.  ;)

Plus, you didn't mention the patience he showed just as he got the ball on the hand-off, waiting for the hole to develop...then showing that burst of speed.  I still can't believe the push the o-line got on that play - everybody on the Mount defensive front was moved 3-4 yards backward almost in unison, before Beaver picked his hole!!

As good as all of those runs were. I still think Garcone catch and run after the catch in 06 where he dove into the end zone at the end was one of the best moves every. It was not the catch that was great but the run after the catch and how he ran away from the warhawks defenders.

UW-Stevens Point's Jared Jenkins in Seattle this week for a private workout with the Seahawks.

Stevens Point Journal has a story in today's paper on Jenkins

Just wondering voice, are you involved in that new NBC show (the one that borrows your name - -"The Voice") that begins at the end of this month? Producer, Creator maybe? I'd like to meet Christina Aguilera, if at all possible!!  ;)

It will be nice to get that residual check every week from NBC that allows them to use my name!

They do have me in a fuure edisode making a cameo appearance.

I'm with BW.  Could watch it a million times, but then, I could watch the entire game a million times.  ;) "The push the 0-line got that play," and most of the game was the #1 key to our finally winning our first National Championship, IMHO.  The d-line collapsing on the goal-line-stand would be another great example.  After 2 previous shots at the Raiders, we finally won the line of scrimmage.

On a side note, with the 1st anniversary approaching of my son being told he was finally cancer free, tests confirmed last week that we have made it through the first year and he is STILL CANCER FREE!  They'll now move the tests out to every 4 months while we work on the 2nd year!  Nothing to interfere with his wedding this summer now!  Nurses want him to bring pictures from it next time he comes in!    :) :)
