Looks like paying more for parking and, "preferred parking," is a reality at Perkins Stadium. I personally don't mind paying more for the closer lot and hope it still goes to support other athletic programs.  With the preferred parking pass the increase comes to $5 a game.  I do hope that the cars that have been parked there since the night before on the boulevard are ticketed and the practice isn't allowed anymore, though.  We have tailgated next to cars taking up primo real estate in the lot whose owners never show and you know they avoided paying anything to park there.

2011 Warhawk Football Fan Accomodations:
2011 Football Game Day Parking:
$5 General Parking (All lots except Perkins Stadium lot)
$10 Preferred Parking (Perkins Stadium lot)
$5 Handicap Parking in Preferred Parking (Perkins Stadium lot)

Warhawk Football Regular Season Preferred Season Parking Pass: $40 (SAVE $10)

Well this blows. :o

In the past, a bunch of us usually meet by the bookstore, then everyone crawls into one car before we go into the Perking Lot so we can save a few $$$. (Now that I'm reading what I just typed, that does sound really frugal  :-[ ). Now it looks like it'll be $5 just to park near the bookstore. I have to come up with a new strategy.

It's tough to tell if I'm going to make all five (or even four) home games to make the season pass worth my while.
Decisions, decisions....

I was thinking the $5 parking is next to the Williams Center, and that it would still be free by the bookstore.  Or maybe that is wishful thinking and you are right, 02.  I liked going into the bookstore beforehand, and then taking the walk (it ain't that far).  Guess we'll find out in a couple weeks.
What the hell was that?  That was a Drop-kick.  Drop-kick? How much is that worth?  Three points.  THREE POINTS?!

I'm considering getting a season ticket, which includes a parking pass by the stadium. You'll break even if you go to at least 4 games this year. Given that one game is on a Friday, so I can only make it to the 4 Saturday games anyways.

2011 Warhawk Football Regular Season (Season Ticket) Prices:
Option 1: 1 season ticket package: $40 (SAVE $15)
Option 2: 1 season ticket package and 1 preferred season parking pass: $70 (SAVE $35)
Option 3: 1 season ticket package, preferred parking pass, and Coulthart Pavilion pass: $100 (SAVE $30)

Good point..I just sent an email asking about that. Once I find out, I'll let you know.

I tried calling, but no one answered.

Warhawk roster posted....no Steve McCollom or Aaron Samplawski.  I want to wish them well after their great Warhawk careers!

You'll have to choose the 2011 roster

Samplawski has an injury and wouldn't have been able to start practicing until the season was almost over.  He's been considering a medical redshirt so I suspect that is what he has decided to do.  I'm not sure about McCollum.

I would say that besides the backups to Coppage, the only other area of concern for me is the D-line.  Lots of young guys will be asked to contribute.

Only having 1 & 1/2 starters on the offensive line is a concern too

The Warhawk schedule shows away games also being broadcast on UWW TV. Is that a mistake or is UWW TV going on the road this year?

MasterJedi

Hey bleedpurple are you doing game predictions again this year? I greatly enjoyed them last year!
